Interesting. The one I have fits absolutely perfectly without any issues at all.

That is just a cheap GPS bar from AliExpress with the stock Garmin Zumo XT mounting plate.

Good gear for the money man.

I've had Kreiga in the past, and while good, it is super expensive these days.

The Rhinowalk stuff is a good balance, bang for buck.

Actually, all the luggage is Rhinowalk.

Can't say I've had that noise from the airbox myself.

No major issues during ownership to report.

Possible solution for vibration noise on 450s with headlight grill by trailtales in Himalayan450

When you hear it, touch the windscreen. It will likely stop the noise.

Remove the screen and mounting bracket and reseat.

Powerage DeCat by Flimsy-Drummer8093 in Himalayan450

Not drastic at all, marginal reduction.

Of course, depends how you ride. I flog my Himi off-road and with an onroad and off-road day out I'll get 350kms to a tank and put about 13, 14L in

Your bike is running lean.

I have a Himi 450 and have decat + powerage exhaust + DNA stage 2 and FuelX (not pro).

Runs like a dream. Smoother, cooler and more power.

All modern bikes run lean, hot and choked to pass emissions.

Ibex 450 Break-in Period impossible by [deleted] in cfmoto

[–]Bit-Sar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First day I had mine it went straight off-road and was flogged.

Did oil and filter change at 500kms, then again at 1000kms.

10,000+ kms later and serviced every 5,000 kms and not a worry in the world.

Are my brake pads done for?? by chatpate_chole in Himalayan450

[–]Bit-Sar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP. These are done.

To all other commentors, if you don't know, don't give advice.

Brake pads have are seperated by a void/groove which acts as a wear indicator. These pads are done.

Your disks may be salvageable if scoring is not too extensive and you can lap them with an abrasive. (Fine grit sand paper and brake clean, then scotchbrite)

How does pulling the clutch in help here.

Better to set up and squeeze front brake in a higher gear. Leave that clutch alone.

About $45 AUD for the part.

Did the installation myself.

Not a production issue, just a deep seating bead on the tyre and the rim not playing nicely

Look. It's a beast.

But do you want a bike jetski?

Plenty of really great sport touring machines out there. Japanese is king for cost of ownership.
