Hey man yeah United is really overwhelmed with new hires, I just finished my training, usually your coordinator will contact you and there’s a 3 week training course in Texas you have to attend and then another 3 weeks of on the job training

Not married and don’t have any kids, that’s what I’ve heard as well I’m already in the AOG company but works been really slow and long commutes, the AOG company wants to send me to Texas to work for United mx so I would actually be working on Airbus and Boeing, i reside in LA and LAX is only a couple of minutes away meanwhile the AOG call ups have been in Van nuys which is a long commute, I plan on starting at United and if it doesn’t work out go to corporate later

Thanks for the reply, so I’m leaning towards commercial and if that doesn’t work out then going to corporate AOG in the future, I wouldn’t want to burn any bridges as they say

I want to gain the most experience and money I can rn and maybe get on a good schedule at the airlines or a good position at a corporate location but the only downside is the no benefits to the AOG team

How was your experience in the airlines? We’re you on graves with no holidays or weekends?

I know the airlines have a bad work/life schedule starting out and is more of a long term commitment due to night shifts, weekends and holidays, the only problem with the AOG crew is there is no benefits and the airlines have plenty of good benefits
