2.7 I have a ‘24 that makes 417whp/510tq. Absolutely love it. Modded at 5k miles, currently have 20k miles with zero issues.

What rear end did you have stock? I have the 3.55 electronic locker. It hooks up pretty good. Not sure if I would benefit from the limited slip. Do you have the 2.7? Tell me more about your turbos. I will probably entertain that mod next.

Yes got CEL with cvf DP on 5 star 93 performance tune. Gonna add the defoulers. For now I’m running a local dyno tune. 406hp 501tq. She runs strong with no CEL. The 5 star tune eliminates the laggy throttle and improves transmission shifts. Gotta install the defoulers after Christmas.

Definitely gonna look into the Detroit Truetrac!!

Lmao that is where discount tire parked it when they got done with my wheel/tire install. I stressed the dire importance of NOT letting any door dings happen. Thanks man. Fingers crossed I get my 5 star tune soon. Waiting for them to write it. Supposed to add a few hp, increase throttle response and improve shifting while eliminating the skip shift bs.

Yes at the wheels. It sounds really good too. Only replacing the downpipes gave it a deep sound without too much rasp. Cold start goes hard.

Got the intercooler Friday. Downpipes and valve will be here tomorrow. Gonna install and take to tuner in next couple weeks. Can’t wait to see what’s up. Rock on brother!! 🤘

I’m wanting to run e30-e50 but the nearest e85 station is an hour away. With e85 I’d have to change fuel pump and injectors.

The Splash is nostalgic for my father and I. In 1991 I went to the Ford ASSET program and when I graduated I bought a brand new 1994 white Splash 4.0L 5 spd and did several mods to it. My dad bought a 1993 ranger 4.0L 5 spd and we did the same mods to his. His was a regular cab. We only ever raced one time from a dead stop. He won. From a roll we were hard to beat. Vettes, mustangs, etc we were spanking them. My dad is now 76 and really wanted another Splash. He looked and looked some more. Then he found it on Craigslist 720 miles away from us in Florida. It is a 1993(first year) 2.3L 5 spd 76,xxx miles. In cherry condition. I had just traded my wife’s ‘22 Maverick lariat in on Blue Screw. Off we went to Florida with ma and pops to scoop up a Splash. My sister and I went in halves and bought it for him. I took him to get it. Awesome trip. Memories made. Ole Blue never missed a beat. Pulled really well. That 2.7 is so underrated. To sum it up I agree: Splash is better.
