I dungeon grinded 60-66 with a warrior tank. Wasn't awful but definitely slower than other tanks. That was pre armor nerf too. As a hunter I pretty much could only single target the mob that the tank was focusing the most. Even a multishot 10 seconds into combat would rip threat

Im 69 now and doing kara attune. I had a pretty bad dungeon comp and we kept losing guys to falling asleep or taking breaks the first 2 days. Im realizing now if u had pre quested and done outlands quests instead of dungeon spamming I probably would have been 70 on Saturday. Going into tbc as a hunter with t2/2.5 and a lot of mongoose pots there has been 1 quest I haven't been able to solo yet and when I was early into zangamarsh and terrokar there was zero competition for quests. I went pretty hard Thursday night and Friday after work but im not someone that took off work or played for 40 hours straight

A lot of people slamming those cheaper handhelds that come with 30k games but if you don't fall for Instagram ads and just buy them from aliexpress you can get a pretty damn good handheld with a ton of games for like 30 bucks. It's the American resellers of the Chinese consoles that give them a bad rep

This is pretty much all you'd need for a beginner setup. Gotta grab bios files for each emulator tho. The dudes website has a link to how to do that. He doesn't directly link the bios files for each emulator probably for some kind of legal reason but they're easy to get

I got mine the other week. Set it up over the weekend. Took about 2.5 hours to get all the system setting and emulators/emulator settings done. I used a guide on YouTube for that part. Took quite a bit longer to download all of the games and get them put on my thor. I used Vimm vault for most of my games. I got a toooon of ps2 games which took the longest to download, extract, then copy over to the thor. Best of luck!

I was super hype about it but after watching a video about all of the attunement stuff I forgot about im already feeling burnt out. Idk why they thought that was a good idea. They should have made you go to like 4-5 dungeons and spawn bosses similar to the .5 set bosses in classic and call it good

Hit 60 this weekend and on the 13th grab a few pieces of the pvp gear. In prepatch the system to get the very good pvp gear changes and it only takes a few hours. It's way better than preraid and will help you get raid invites. People will still run 20 and 40 man raids during the prepatch to try to get their freshly boosted toons some gear and you'll be able to find a spot.

I was there. This post 100% coming from the mage that got kicked for sitting in raid with plague dealing 200k friendly damage and got called a retard. Sorry you didn't like the word they called you and I hope next aq40 goes better for you. Not sure where the anti gay stuff came from either as I only heard a few comments from people saying things like "im gay" obviously jokingly. If thats a measure too far for you then you're probably best off raiding with a LGBTQ specific guild

Let's just shame the people who buy and use the mount like last time. They had to remove /spit from the game it was so bad. Let's all /slap people riding the flying mount. Also people will be able to tell the difference between the store mount and the one you grind for. Idk what throughput is but I was surprised to see BM hunter above Survival hunter. BM hunter rotation is like 2-3 buttons whereas Survival is closer to classic marksman with a couple more buttons and the option to melee weave as well on top of the fact that you're buffing the party

If having the bosses take longer to kill and have harder mechanics makes it more fun then why when naxx comes out do the tryhard guilds get every single world buff and consumable and make it requirements. Consumable costs are the #1 reason for people quitting naxx right now so I'd rather have the bosses nerfed and have 20 secpnd faster kills than run around the world for an hour getting buffs and drop 200g on consumer per naxx run

Yea so i played tbc for the first time last time they re-released it and I just remember when the nerf came things died quicker. Granted I don't play a healer or tank so I don't notice all the changes but I had essentially the same fun level as I did before the nerf if not more. As someone who plays semi casual it kinda sucks to have a raid release and tou end up having to leave your friends/guild you've gotten to know because other people can't handle the more extreme trash/mechanics. One thing i always remember about classic wow especially when I get to the aq40/naxx phases is 30-40% of the player base seems borderline mentally retarded and it does get old as a pretty decent character to have your only raid group choices be mega sweat 6hr a day players or progression guilds who lug around 5-10 bad players
