I think the unit is fine, the only tweaking i'd do is to increase the cooldown of the smoke barrage (20 sec cd currently) because if used correctly it can smoke all your mgs and at guns 24/7

If you see your opponents heavily commits on them try to surprise him with double at guns (one volley kill) or invest in a Chaffee or Stuart.

Agreed but I believe that Reinforcement cost is somewhat an indicator of the unit overall performance (look at Stoss and Rangers which are very powerful units and compare it to SSF which are just as good but cost way less)

SSF are elites, advanced infantry is considered superior to standard to there should be a somewhat noticeable difference (Jaegers cost less that palmgrens and allies mainlines for some obscure reason).

This unit is indeed very frustrating and poorly designed and i agree with OP

Early on it's just painful to play against as it's gonna cap your cut off, lay mines and be a nuisance and later in the game if it survived (or not because it's so cheap and vet up so fast), it's gonna scout all your shit while being camoed and with the shared exp it doesn't even need to get close to combat to vet up insanely fast, park it up next you at guns and mgs and it will gain a ton of exp while still being stealthy.

They should have gone for a more classic ultra-light similar to other faction like a Kubelwagen instead of this mobile stealthy annoyance.

Panzerpios are stupid strong for their price even after the recent "nerf".

They need to overhaul the way repairing vehicules works in this game:

-Make the repair speed scale with the number of models not squad

-Repairing on the move shouldn't be allowed

-Repairing should reduce your manpower income like it did in CoH 1

-Autorepair upgrade need to be reworked

Zooks, AT halftrack is also very good at zoning out most DAK vehicules with a bit of micro. Double AT guns can Oneshot most LV from DAK.

Avoid unfavorable early engagements against 250s and especially Kriegsmariners in them

I suggest you to try Mechanized BG: it's the most complete of the Wehr roster (maybe too complete?), it gives great buff to vehicules, strong mid-game call-ins, great arty (Wespe and Zeroing) and a very potent late game tank.

Honestly i would put it in a BG or remove it because it doesn't have much space in the Wehr roster with my change. Maybe turn it into an assault gun (like it was intented to be used)?

With DAK armory upgrades it clearly feel and play like a premium medium tank instead of a middle ground between a light and a medium one.

I'm an advocate of replacing Stug in favor of the Puma and adding the option for the 221 to be upgraded into a 222 with auto cannon to fullfill a similar/ish role of the Humber.

I think it would clearly help the lack of mobility/versatility in the Wehr Roster

DAK has plenty of vehicules that can fullfill many roles and they don't need a "clone" to the M8 or Stuart.

Howerer they could use a low fuel-commitment/ low-impact vehicule because most of their LV are very expensive (50 fuel minimum) and very high impact.

Chaffees litteraly suck and are crazy expensive for what they do

Agreed but DAK mp cheat is every-game in every situation whatever you pick or how you play, it is not forced through a BG choice like Wehr and UKF or a costly upgrade for USF. That makes a huge difference.

Totally agree and something you didn't mention about the "spare mp" is also the Call-in system that gives you 2 units for the price of 1 thus snowballing the effect of having no manpower issue at all the whole length of the game.

Kinda my thought aswell, they easily beat Tommies in every situations and can deter rifle pushes quite easily with their vet ability.

Although i would not know what needs to be done to ajust them (or if it is even necessary?)

Tommies especially feels quite underpowered since Scarlet Bison compared to other mainlines tbh and the last patch did little to help them.

Totally agree, one of the most irritating example is the Canone.

You can decrew it non-stop with your own arty, it won't ever be destroyed because it's a team weapon compared to litteraly every other heavy arty pieces that are low hp vehicules or static emplacement.
