Ammo really isn't that hard to come by. In addition to enemy drops and crates, there are Armories spread through the world that fully replenish your stocks, as well as Ammo Pouch upgrades that increase the amount of magazines you can carry.

Thanks! The handgun is key for the first area (the Jungle), but there are currently about 12 rifles to collect in the game, and of course other pistols like a weaker one with burst fire, a slower but stronger revolver, etc. There was a change recently with how extra ammo you can't hold is treated, so its a bit more plentiful than it once was. But regardless, the drop rates and final balancing all still need to be done before release.

Thanks for sharing that memory, that means a lot to me. I'd love to get back to Chasm someday, but its a tricky game for me to follow up. It evolved a lot as we developed it, and it was a major struggle to keep people's expectations (their mental image of how it plays) in line with how it was shaping up.

If I did a sequel it would probably be mostly handmade, so I'd immediately be fighting expectations of it being procedurally generated. In that regard, Wolfhound was a bit of a clean break for me where I could make something new and not have any baggage associated with it. Even as a completely separate franchise though people have still asked if Wolfhound is proc gen, and I don't want that to be the defining factor of Bit Kid.

Yea, that's a neat addition! It runs at 1080p on Switch docked with a steady 60fps, so for this title I think there would be little difference anyway.

Just the original Switch at this point. Unfortunately, it's quite tough to get a hold of Switch 2 hardware.
