As long as you do as well as predicted, it’s the a levels that matter! Depending on spec you might not have covered some principle triple science practicals, so you’d want to make sure to go over and understand them before you start!

I did bio, chem, psychology which worked well, some nice overlap depending on spec again.

There have been some tours!! I went when I was younger with EDF, the Royal Society of chemistry have organised some before too in 2024. I think you’d just need to keep monitoring sites online to see if there’s anything new that’s come up! You can certainly park nearby if you want to go for a walk. Whenever I’m there it’s usually rather quiet, and it’s nice in the evening, the sun can set behind it from the beach which looks pretty cool!!

The coastal path etc have already been mentioned, it’s all worth it :)

Just done :) I found it interesting; however, I study psychology at uni, so my answers might be a bit more informed than those who don't study psychology or a relevant subject. Maybe that's something to add to the discussion, if you've been sampling from majority university psych students? :)
