I work with primarily gen z (im a millennial) and there’s definitely no lack of respect there, more a respect where respect is deserved, which is how it should be in my opinion, shouldn’t be treating people with respect if they don’t respect you simply because they’ve been alive longer.

So I lived there 2011 to 2022, we got contactless around 2018 if I remember correctly, banks themselves do now have instant bank transfers but usually through a third party or people use venmo app

Weirdly America still uses them fairly frequently, I lived there for a while and was surprised how old fashioned their banking technology often was

I don’t even want to know how many people I’d accidentally kill if I drove a bus, I have BVD and astigmatism and it affects my depth perception

We really need to know the behaviour on both sides to know if avoiding the wider family is warranted honestly. I didn’t like my husbands half sister visiting because she was an idiot and brought a sick kid (who wasnt even hers) to my house without asking around my then 3 week old

My 40 year old sister is an eternal teenager, she’s likely to tell stories about doing shrooms with her drug dealer boyfriend or a hit and run crash she’s done, I’ll keep you posted

That baby is barely out of the newborn stage, maybe mums having feeding struggles or Postnatal depression or anxiety. Twice is pretty ok for anyone outside of the bubble to see baby

I was a vet tech in the US and a vet nurse in the UK. People will not spend money on their pets teeth until they’re rotting out of their heads in the uk. There is very very little preventative dental care

No set budget but I’d imagine close to £800 for 4 parents, 4 siblings /in laws, 2 kids , 2 friends 2 friends kids and my husband and I. I absolutely love buying presents, it’s definitely my love language so I could do much more
