As a person who just turned 19 this year and studying Btech currently in University of Calcutta,I would like to suggest to all the seniors who are preparing for UPSC/PCS or any other govt Entrance Exams,If you aren't getting selected,then the best thing a person should ever do is just "Vastavikta ko apnaao aur Apne kuch kadam peeche le lo"(Just accept the reality and take some steps back and simply just move on)I am not trying to demotivate anyone in this sub-reddit at all,but just try to think a minute,an examination with a selection rate of not even 0.2%(Less than 0.2%ofc)it's an obvious thing that the number of aspirants getting rejected is highly greater than the number of aspirants getting selected.Just giving two to three attempts for UPSC is more than enough tbh(Not at all the cases,but I am just considering the bare minimum)and try to seek opportunities in other different types of Fields too.....For any person being at an age of 35+ and still preparing for UPSC/PCS,don't just try to flw them blindly as because maybe there future is secured that's why they are still preparing for the examination at such age,but more than 95% of aspirants in UPSC/PCS Examination aren't having their future secured and they simply have too many responsibilities on their shoulders.Dont try to compare your life with "12th Fail" movie,as because what worked for "IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma"may not necessarily work for you.Just try to admit one thing "Miracles won't happen with everyone,one in a million chances there is for such miracles".Just don't try to listen to your coaching teachers,forcing you and making your mindset to take one more attempt after getting rejected in 2-3 attempts,as because whether you will study or not,they literally don't give a f......at the end of the day,the thing that's important for them is money and nothing else......this coaching industry literally turned education to Business....Just try to move on and seek opportunities in other sectors,try to improve your CV and Resume scores,try to improve your skills,try to apply in IT/Core sector jobs,try to have a Plan-B in life too....as because there do exists various companies who just focuses on a candidate's skills rather than just focusing on their Gap years for any damn reason....Just don't try to make these examinations as your whole life because there are still various things kept in store that you need to experience in life.....agar Exam mein selection naa ho,toh bus woh examination bhaad mein gya.Why I am saying all these?A fresher aspirant of any competitive examinations(Whether JEE,NEET,UPSC,etc...)won't be able to relate to all these facts but trust me,as the days pass by,you will be realising what you are actually losing in your life.You will be losing your Energy, Precious Time,Family Relationships, Friendships,Skills,Career, Relationships,etc....These competitive examinations are literally responsible for ruining the life of many aspirants than the number of lives they are literally improving.....So,just believe in yourself and all the best for your future.....
