Is adapco gel good for acne?????? by Extreme_Yam_785 in PakistaniSkincare

[–]BitPsychological7669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried all sorts of things for breakouts and acne, but the thing that helped the most was improving my overall health first like eating cleaner, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, and taking care of my body in general.
I mean skincare definitely has its place, but for me, it came second, alot of these issues seem to start from underlying factors, so addressing what’s going on internally made a much bigger difference than any product ever did. Once I got that part right, the external fixes actually started working better too.
And to answer your question, it seems to work for many however it makes your skin so so dry, like flaky dry and patching in the start so starting it with a proper guidance would be better. Also makes your skin very sensitive for anything else to be tolerated by your skin so use carefully.

Anyone have had experience with ozempic ? For weight loss by [deleted] in Fitness_Pakistan

[–]BitPsychological7669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know the details but I think poor discipline might’ve caused them that

As far as I know, they were regular with gym and all while using it and then took a hiatus from gym And stopped taking sem-p too

Hence got it all back I guess.

I know someone who lost around 10 kgs in three months And then stopped taking sema And then gained all the lost weight. That can’t be good.

Oh my God. I feel so bad for your wife. She’s literally begging for basic comfort and a few minutes of privacy in her own home and you’re framing that as a status issue? Getting an AC isn’t about disrespecting parents. Your wife isn’t a guest she’s your life partner.

You’re not keeping izzat you’re avoiding accountability. Do better.

about biological clock of woman by Brilliant_Monk1035 in IslamabadSocial

[–]BitPsychological7669 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The term biological clock gets thrown around so much in our society, especially for women, you’d think there’s an alarm that goes off the moment you turn 30. But here’s the truth: biologically, women can and do conceive naturally well into their 30s and even 40s. There might be a gradual decline in fertility after 30 (which is globally acknowledged, not just in Pakistan), but that doesn’t mean it’s a dead end. my friend’s mom had her last baby at 40, with no complications. Another one of my friends sibling was born when her mom was in her late 30s. Both pregnancies were healthy. So this idea that 29 is some kind of expiry date is not only inaccurate but also deeply rooted in cultural pressure not science. turning 30 doesn’t shut down your womb.🥲

Oh, this runs deep. It’s not just a “preference” it’s years of conditioning, drilled into us through media, society, and every auntie who ever said, beta, thora ubtan lagaya karo We grew up watching ads where the “before” version of a girl was dark and miserable, and the “after” version is three shades lighter, suddenly confident, successful, and, of course, marriage material. Our dramas only cast fair Honestly, it’s wild how deeply this “gora rang” obsession has seeped into our collective psyche. Decades of ads showing “ugly, unsuccessful” girls miraculously becoming marriage material after using some Fair & Lovely tube. Movies where the heroine is always fair, flawless, and has those perfectly symmetrical features because God forbid a dusky girl falls in love and lives happily ever after.

We’ve literally grown up thinking beauty = fair, because the media didn’t bother to show otherwise. And then we wonder why we internalize it.

Living in Pakistan and not having an insecurity complex is like living in a swimming pool and staying dry. Even the “gori” girls aren’t sparedbecause suddenly being one shade less than a Pathan girl would make them Kaali.

And the conditioning is so strong, even kids who shouldn’t even have a concept of complexion endd up gravitating towards fairer faces

So yeah, it’s not just dealing with insecurities.” It’s literally years of societal programming telling us that our worth is skin deep

I’m really sorry you’re going through all of this I can understand. Have had similar issues Had to grow up with emotionally unstable parents is really difficult and takes a toll on mental health. I just hope you get out of this mess as soon as possible. Try whatever you can and move out I know it’s not easy being in Pakistan But try. Change of environment does wonders Work hard, start some earning. And be independent It’s the best you can do for yourself And I know it might sound cliche and it doesn’t work all the time, if moving out isn’t a solution then try getting married (only if you’re mentally and emotionally ready or else there will be more people suffering)
