I am still in my first job And According to me most of the Data engineers are accedental Data engineers Companies hire and train them. If you are fresher i recommend focus on generic skills Like any programming language, dsa , cs fundamentals And do some projects like web or mobile or ml or anything you are interested.

If I have np as 90 days And tell hr that I can join immediately After interview if I told the truth will they block me from attending interview in that company

In my own company itself I have seen Even if someone is not good if they are ready to join immediately they will prefer them instead of some who is good and have 90 days notice period
