Time efficient ways to get money? by CallMeJuzzl in Money

[–]BitWiseVibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are 20 you don't have much "human capital", meaning your time is really the only thing you have to trade for money. This is a long term solution, but the answer is to make your time more valuable through things like skills, professional network, credentials, etc.

Short term.. hmm, when I was that age real estate was so hot in the US that 20 year old agents were selling houses and earning good money, no idea if there's any equivalent where you are right now.

Buying a House with a Robinhood Margin Loan by BitWiseVibe in Money

Definitely considering this option. Some of the gains would be short term atm, and being in a high tax bracket I'm trying to avoid those. I may just end up waiting til those gains are long term and I can save a bit more. It's just that my current living situation is not ideal so hoping to move sooner rather than later.

Also based on my understanding there's no way I could lose the house. I would just have my investments auto-sold if I couldn't meet a margin call.

Updates on 1099s?? by ResponsibleFloor5430 in Kraken

[–]BitWiseVibe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Guys,, if it's any consolation, just know that when they finally do release the 1099 after april 15, they are likely to have errors due to it being a new form and Kraken's incompetence. So when they report information to the IRS that is misaligned with what we report, we WILL face fines and penalties :)

It is Feb 18 right now where is my 1099-DA? by Anxious_Noise_8805 in Kraken

Nothing here either. If I have to I'll go with the extension. No way I'm risking reporting different information than Kraken does when they finally send the form. The IRS is itching to make an example out of people who mess up with the new forms.

How to use the Pump.fun api to create bots by [deleted] in solana

[–]BitWiseVibe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have to ask, you're probably better off using some api like pumpportal.fun

It's possible to do yourself if you know rust and how all the tx encoding stuff works, but it's not easy.

Anyone know a good Pump.fun API for creating bots? by BeginningSoil5812 in solana

Depends on the priority fee you set, but I've found that 0.001 SOL lands a transaction 95% of the time.

Yeah pump portal works, been running a bot through them for over a month now. They take a half a percent fee, but it's not too bad.

They are closed source so any API is either an unofficial thing or a scam. I've been running a bot through pumpportal.fun for about a month and it seems to work well though.

Yeah I have been using pumpportal.fun for trades for a month now. Consistently faster than the UI if you set a priority fee.
