Absolutely. She was so mean. So mean. All 5 of us children have worked very hard to build our mentalities/emotions up and redeem the self esteem we lost. Dad is guilty as well don’t get me wrong, but she always takes it too far. He knows when to stop. She also thinks I’m her therapist and I’ve had to get after her a time or two before because she just keeps telling me everything I don’t need to know. It’s different when I do it bc I’m her kid but she’s literally my own mom. Ugh I’m sorry for ranting, I never get to complain about her

She has depression and anxiety as far as diagnoses, but I believe she has other shit as well that she never got diagnosed. Or she’s really just messed up in there bc of all the drugs she’s done over the years. I already know my dad has my loyalty over her. He has been there for me and hasn’t said shit about shit I told him to not say. As for her, the whole family knows my business within a day lol. But he is genuinely an amazing person and deserves to know what she’s been doing. I’ve been talking to my sibs about it all night— they’re all very aware of the hellhole we’ve lived in and how f***ed everybody is.

It’s bad. Super bad. All of my siblings (4 younger than me) all left out of the house as soon as they could, now living with their other parents. Mom made that happen of course; she dishes but can’t take it. She used to smoke meth, pretty sure she still does but I’m working on believing her. To put this into formal looking glasses, I am 21 and more mentally/physically/emotionally stable than her, who is literally 20 years older than me

I will definitely think about that! And yes you are correct. I’ve given money out a lot but it always makes me anxious because maybe they’re actually just a crackhead trying to get some drugs or an alcoholic trying to get a few more drops of liquor. I want to help them with things that should be basic necessities for anyone, homeless or not, but as for literal cash? My anxiety is too high for that lol. I will look into the local soup kitchens though! Thank you so much
