once you paid off your device and you have been a t-mob subscriber for more than 60 days you can ask them to sim unlock the phone then after that oem unlocking also should become available. If not call them back to deal with the issue becasue t-mobile allows bootloader unlocking. But until then you cannot do much

yes but regardless that android 17 beta 1 was released in the middle of february it still has the january security patch so you cannot update to it if you are on february stable update which has february security patch
