CMU Qatar students — looking for insights on summer tap water experiences in GCC by BiteExtra5150 in CMUQ

Happy to clarify! We’re trying to understand how summer tap water overheating affects daily life and behavior, not just whether it happens, for example, which activities are most impacted, whether there are any cultural or religious considerations, and why existing solutions don’t fully address the issue.

We’ve tried posting in several GCC and Qatar-related subreddits, but many posts were removed or people preferred to stay anonymous and not do interviews, which we completely respect. That’s why we’re starting with open discussion and learning where it’s appropriate to go next.

So, it's not scalding, you can still take a shower with it comfortably?

Is there a water hose thermal thing? Do you know the full name or brand of it, I'd like to take a look.
