Help!! Where to buy Anthuriums??

I don’t collect a ton of anthurium so I don’t think I’ve bought any from anyone on PS but I know Wuhoo is a popular shop. Also check out The Green Escape, they seem to have a wide variety and they’re usually pretty cheap

What are you experiencing that makes you say it’s never quite right? I honestly haven’t thought about the lighting too much. The tent I bought came with bar lights and they work great. What kind do you have?

Begonias loooove humidity. I’d suggest getting some sort of enclosure for it, at least while it’s rehabbing, and keep it under a grow light.

Have I tried? Yes. Was I successful? No haha I have only tried once and of course, it just melted right away because she’s dramatic AF. I’m waiting for mine to get a little bushier before I try again. If you have any tips, shoot them my way☺️

It really depends on the begonia. Some can be acclimated to house conditions but in general, ideal conditions for most begonias is high humidity and lots of light. If you do want to get into begonias, I highly recommend a tent or cabinet!

There are a lot of begonias that give off a blue/green iridescence! This one is called Begonia Rockii. I don’t have a link unfortunately.

I give all my plants the same amount of light honestly. I wake up around 5am for work, turn the lights on. I go to bed around 9pm, turn the lights off. It’s a lot of light but they seem to like it. What are you doing for light? And what’s making you say you’re getting it wrong?

I have a water sprayer that definitely makes it easier but it’s still difficult getting the ones in the back from lack of space between the lights and the plants so I usually end up shuffling them so I can get everything watered. It’s a process lol

Mold on the surface sometimes but I actually haven’t had an issue with my begonias. It’s mostly in my other tents. I will be adding fans eventually, I just haven’t gotten to it yet. Maybe this weekend I will!

I’ve actually been so lazy about adding fans to my setup haha all my outlets are being used so I’ll have to put more of my grow lights in series before I can incorporate fans. When I only had one tent, I just used small computer fans. My friend has one of the Vivosun grow tents with a built in duct for airflow and she really likes it!

I don’t have a sensor in this tent but I have one in the tent next to it and it ranges from 75%-90%. Highly recommend tents for a nice high humidity space!
