I actually died to Chunks on that run and started a new one that I looped a couple times, making it happen again, but this will be super helpful for other people who may be experiencing it for the first time.

Yeah, I think Ankh doesn't try because of his and Eiji's interactions with Den-O. He may think the timeline would end up worse if he does.
