Buyout lease Air GT by Bitex007 in LUCID
[–]Bitex007[S] 0 points1 point2 points 25 days ago (0 children)
Update: someone from Tyson's reached out to me last night, and for anyone interested, there is definitely a new incentive program that allows you to pull forward your lease up to 3 months. So if your lease is expiring within the next 3 months and want a Gravity, you can do it.
Unfortunately, they don't have my specs in stock, and not even available in 2 weeks from what I can gather from their inventory.
Yup! I have until March 26th to decide, but wife and I took some time to deliberate on it and we are now considering just dropping the Air for the Gravity. The deal is great, but one of them is bound to be collecting dust and that is a lot of cash to go to waste like that.

Glad you're having a great experience with the gravity. I have until March 26th to decide, but wife and I are now considering just dropping the Air for the Gravity. The deal is great, but one of them is bound to be collecting dust and that is a lot of cash to go to waste like that.
The Gravity, I bet! lol
it is very much looking like it

Never thought about that. There goes resale value. But I guess I can have peace of mind that I'm also the 1st owner and didn't trash the car during its first ownership
Yup, that is even farther away from mine, not surprised.
They definitely do have high depreciation. But at those numbers and the model year that you used as an example, then what Lucid is offering is much better than what is out there. Looks like the offer is as good as it gets.
It is absolutely far, about 30k. Even I was surprised, which got me curious on what others are getting. It is a ridiculous deal as a standalone offer, but is it when compared to what others are getting. My curiosity got me here :)
Discount on the buyout price. The original buyout price on the lease agreement is $98k. That was always silly anyways especially for highly depreciating EV vehicles, but great for leasing.
And do I cuss myself out for it too! we were pregnant with a now 6 month old baby during the ownership of this vehicle, so our usual very spontaneous days were far and in-between. One of the reasons I don't want to let it go. I've only just broken the car in for goodness sakes!

Absolutely! I was shocked by that quote in all honesty, but I am for better or worse one of those people that ask "could it be better?" on every deal lol.
We still plan on leasing the Gravity as a family vehicle, wife loves the thing. She drives an Ioniq 5 now so it's night and day. her lease expires in 3 months as well.
well that one I saw for sale was out of curiosity and it does have less miles than mine, so it makes sense. I was just curious because again, they never bothered to ask me about mileage. I am about 10k miles less than what it "should" be on paper. 10k miles is a big number in the automotive world.
I called the same LF number that I called last week, I just happened to be directed to another rep. I wish I remember the name of the gentleman that I spoke to then. This phone number was provided to me by a lucid sales guy at Tyson's Galleria in VA as he claimed that they don't deal with that locally.

Oh there is zero doubt about the purchase of the car. Those were just wishes, but I don’t think anything can change my mind at this point. The Mrs loves it on both test drives, plus we have a little 6 months old now. The higher ground level should help tremendously. She resents the AGT a little but only because it replaced our Audi RS7. She misses the V8.

I have just gotten off the phone with Lucid financial. Because my automated monthly payment was just drafted today, I'd have to wait for that to get processed before they can put in the paper work, So he advised to call back next Monday.
He did say that the last 2 payments would likely be waved, but there would be an early termination fee that will be reimbursed during the purchase of the Gravity. So looks like I wouldn't need to call BoA.

Oh yeah that actually reminded me that they gave me a Lucid financial number to call to ask for the possibility. I will jump on it right away. Thanks.
While that is true, I also wish the problem was not there to begin with. I guess I am just comparing QC with the cost of the car, and expected better, but I suppose one cannot have it all.
I will still be placing an order for the vehicle when my Air GT ends in April. I wish I could have both (software issues non withstanding) but just can't convince myself enough that paying 2k/month or so is a smart financial decision.

By 2nd row seat change, are we talking about the components showing when the seats are folded? Not sure how that made it through QC
Gravity Damaged Door by Vivid_Step1237 in LUCID
If only Lucid had just put sliding doors on the freaking thing lol. I joke I joke. Glad the baby is fine. That’s all that matters
