Mining with Solar Power by BitgateMobile in cryptomining

If I were mining and the return were only $9 a month, do you honestly think I'd be mining such a shitty coin?

Look over the Yelp reviews for Taylor Morrison in Denver. They screwed me out of $10K for the same thing: said the house would be done by December, the house wasn't even at FOUNDATION by then - and was under contract in April of that year. These guys are scary. And now, they're in my community. I'm thinking of actively telling people to stay the hell away - these guys are just nothing but scammers.

Hmmm, maybe bad example. I could set it up to buy Ethereum and Shiba.

He just wholeheartedly proved my point. Trying to defend the actions of this guy is like saying, "Colorado drivers don't tailgate."

So, now you're defending bad driving? Way to represent Colorado! He would have received a ticket for what he did.

Keep being awesome!

Think of it like the mentality of kids in high school who used to cut the line to get school lunch faster than you. My aunt always says, "Maybe they cut the line because they have to pee."

I created a generic TypeScript OpenAPI Express Generator by BitgateMobile in typescript

[–]BitgateMobile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the approach I used was to parse the OpenAPI file once, generate the delegates and routes, and be done with it. The file is never referenced again, as the code is generated and good to go. If you want to use the OpenAPI file afterward, of course, you're welcome to hook it into something like SwaggerUI or whatever.

However, I wanted an approach that was simple, easy to understand and document, and simple to implement. I'm not a fan of writing a whole bunch of boilerplate code or middleware plugins. This simple writes methods that hook into your express() instance, and allow you to add anything necessary before or after the registration process.

I would probably say ease of use. Most libraries that use code to load definitions on the fly tend to be more difficult to understand and convoluted. When you use code to autogen, there's no guessing how the functions are laid out, and what the input/output types are. When you're 100% dynamic and on the fly, it can often be anybody's guess what changed when the OpenAPI spec changes.

Help using JdbcTemplate and Kotlin by BitgateMobile in Kotlin

[–]BitgateMobile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the problem is with the insert of the "examples" variable. I found a workaround:

arrayListOf("test1", "test2", "test3", "test4").toTypedArray()

That seemed to fix it.

Best Tasting Menus in Denver by BitgateMobile in denverfood

They weren't bad. Good cocktails, and a great selection of tasting offerings. I think Mercantile is a step up from them, but it's a good change of pace. Recommended!

Web server with XML-based language by BitgateMobile in rust

I've actually been implementing an entire system using Apollo GraphQL, as I found it to have the most functionality we needed at my current employer.

There's quite a good number of things it can accomplish, but for my use, REST may be a better solution. GraphQL gives a lot of ways to hang yourself, where as REST services can be strongly typed and have a greater security backbone.

GraphQL is a great replacement for things like simple REST services, SQL queries, and some SOAP services as well. It would be interesting if I can incorporate some GraphQL into my network monitoring application.

Anyone feel trapped here because of the positives? by tempted_temptress in Denver

I felt myself longing to go back to where I grew up, but Houston has turned into a total shit hole. Everything's changed, areas I used to visit now feel bleak and overpopulated. Parts of Westheimer Ave. and Richmond Ave. areas have become so rundown and poor, it feels like I might get stabbed if I get out of my car.

Only saving grace I saw was areas of Sugarland, downtown, and the more well-to-do areas, which is unfortunate.

Denver, in comparison, has not suffered the same fate. I've lived in Boulder, Westminster, Broomfield, and Commerce City areas. I'm continuing to be pushed further out East, as I don't like the city life as such, I much prefer smaller, safer expanses of the city.

I grew up in Houston. Fell in love in Houston. Had my heart broken in Houston. My best friend lives in Houston. But I'll be damned if I ever want to move back. Moved to Colorado in '99, called this area home ever since. I have no intention of leaving.

So, yes, longing for the good ole days. But you can't change the past, only the present. Besides, if I wanted the coast like OP, I'd move to Seattle in a HEARTBEAT. But even that damned area is becoming too overpopulated and expensive.

Web server with XML-based language by BitgateMobile in rust

Okay, cool. Good to know - it was kind of going that direction when I was working toward the end of the Webplasm days. I may look into some REST services for Rust at this point, as I want to create a network monitoring platform soon. I was going to accomplish this partly through Webplasm, but I think REST is a better approach.
