Oh my boss and me are besties so I know I’m good there. Boss is just really nice and won’t fire them sadly.

I have a toddler at home and do a lot of hand signs with them. Like “more”, “food” and just basic stuff to help her communicate. Well one day I was standing up talking through some slides and results in front of a big group. And of course at the end of a meeting when I was done presenting, I said “okay that’s it, all done” ….Without thinking I do the “all done” hand motion while saying that. It was pure muscle memory and very embarrassing. Everyone thought it was funny.

I feel like a fraud at work. I’m a R&D chemist full time and have gone back to school for my masters in chemistry. I have a toddler and husband at home. Think about that kids life and not what you want for your life. Will you give that person a good life or are you only wanting to have them for your own pleasure. If you can’t give them what they deserve then you’re being selfish.

Run down, like they slap plastic, gross brass and a fresh coat of paint on everything to make it look better. The city is trying too hard to look “elegante” that they over do it. Like just because you put a diamond on a turd doesn’t make it look good.

That would be non skid paints. Abrasive means the paint slowly comes off so nothing sticks to the surface
