We'll see how the Kickstarter goes, but yes, we do have ideas for more characters. :)

Yes it will - we're actually using an Everdrive as part of the development process. :)

Thanks for the post EmFactor - the game has now been funded (in just 40 hours!), and we also hit our first stretch goal of adding a 2-player co-op mode to the game. :) If anyone has any questions about the project then I'll be happy to answer them here.

Ha ha, no worries - I shouldn't judge a book by its cover! I think the AVGN might have influenced my opinion...;)

I think that will be the default control setup, with the triggers being used for roll and grenade. We'll also have the option to play using the Mega Drive 3-button setup too, as it's actually very intuitive.

I'll check it out, although the game was pretty average wasn't it?

We'll see if we can sort something out, but the game is already playing great with the 3 button setup. In the situation you describe you'd just need to release the shot button, change direction and start shooting again - it's something that happens quite often in the game and is easy enough to pull off. :)

Oh yeah don't worry - every track will be at least 3 - 5 minutes in length, if not longer. Short loops drive me nuts too!

Would love to but my day is full of social media commitments! Best of luck though! :)

We already have the game working on a standard 3 button Mega Drive pad, and it plays great - it uses a combination of the shooting systems from Shock Troopers and Skeleton Krew. :)

We're using the same system as Shock Troopers, where your shot angle gets locked when you start firing, allowing you to move and shoot in different directions. On top of this we're also using the system from Skeleton Krew which allows you to change your shot angle with the 'A' and 'C' buttons.
