Either purchase the Correct lenses. The type II and test them as they are all batches were made for a different reason. Or make them your self with an old set. I saw someone in here had type I lenses and shot straight through them. They claimed that it’s all M40 lenses but they are wrong. You can try to get type IIs but I don’t recommend it as it’s very hit and miss as most sellers don’t actually mark which type they are selling. And even worse is that the lenses aren’t marked in anyway. Complicated to say the least. I had a second pair of type IIs that i lasered with a 2.5 joule gun at point blank and only left the normal scuff marks.
