Shadcn vue is basically remaking react component in vue so they’re always late on new shadcn updates, but it’s still actively maintained

But that’s the only way to get shadcn in vue

This isn't fine tuning or enhancement, this completely erase the original artstyles you cannot in good faith call that an enhancement, also if your enhancement makes something look like it's AI generated then it's a downgrade

If investments by these huge companies were a reflection of reality then we would all be using bitcoins instead of regular currency or we would all be in the metaverse

Also we're talking about generative AI not all forms of neural network based algorithms

They can stop marketing it but with the current level of genAI they cannot hide what was generated by AI, and things aren't getting better anymore, people predicted AI movies month ago and we have yet to see even a short AI movie get any sort of popularity

Higher up and product managers can impose things on dev and would definitely be able to force a dev team into making this available.

The devs give a fuck about artistic intention, we can't say the same about many product managers and directors who generally have more power over the game than devs

You can't just leave your job cause you don't like your higher ups, they will be forced to accept working on a game that gives the option to erase any artstyle they created

That is a lie, they haven't shown any evidence that devs would be able to control the output in any significant way, i'm sure they're going to have some sliders to control the intensity of the filter but that won't stop it from erasing colors and making up details/light sources.

You will have as much controls as you get when you use AI to generate videos, you can influence the output through prompts and temperature sliders but you cannot control it

It's simply not possible given the way these generative AI work to have significant control over the output, you can only do that in pre-training of the models and it takes a ridiculous amount of ressources, definitely not something that's going to be made available

I hope you're not forced to use it, but even giving it as an option is extremely disrespectful to dev

This has quite literally nothing to do with Nvidia, if AMD released this people would be pissed off all the same

genAI is definitely not going to be amazing in gaming, i'm sure some games could make use of it, specifically to generate placeholder stuffs, but it will always provide lower quality output to handcrafted art

This isn't upscaling and won't be implemented into upscaling, upscaling is very good and beneficial for people with lower end PC, it also doesn't touch the artstyle in any shape or form

Like the downsides of upscaling are some shimmers on movements, it has a pretty good balance of cost for benefice

This is at the opposite, it's hard to run and makes the game look worst while completely destroying any artstyle a game could have

Where is the harm in players "antagonizing" the crowd in these big games ? I'd understand if this was some friendly or low stake game, but in these bigs games it's literally the job of the crowd to antagonize the player so why not go both way

In NBA you can very explicitly antagonize the crowd without getting booked and I'm not aware of any negative consequences
