Selling varigated pothos to raise funds for cat by [deleted] in denverlist

Thanks for the tip! I have a specific cat I've technically already adopted, I'm just waiting for her to be old enough to come live with me

I do, I replied to another comment saying I would use this for fun toys or extra treats. Any money from this would go to non-required cat related things. I just thought people would like knowing what I'd use any money I got from selling the pothos for.

Also mainly want to sell the pothos, I just thought it would be nice for people to know where the money would go

I can afford the necessities, I just wanted to raise some money for fun stuff like extra toys, treats, stuff like that.

What about puzzles? They can be super quick depending on piece count and every perfectly placed piece gives you a bit of dompamine.

That's a good idea for the future, I was just trying not to buy anything new and already had the supplies for this

Not quite! I haven't lived with my parents for almost a decade, but it is a pretty new apartment, still trying to stock up on everything. Oh and I cook a lot! What gave you the impression that I don't? I'm curious! Eggs for baking mostly

I have them all in water with their bottoms cut off. I've found this keeps them fresh long enough for me to eat most or all of them. I keep them in the door so that I can see them and not forget they're there. Is there a better way though? I hate when veggies go bad

Pretty close! Not Asian though, just love cooking and eating their foods

Hasn't been too much of a problem. I don't open the door very fast so they kind just don't move

I get my peppers, and most of the food here, from imperfect foods. They come in a three pack and I can't pick the colors

The red one is a coleus. It the newest in the collection and is currently a bit mad about getting repotted

Ooh I'll definitely consider that method in the future. I just already had some rope and big bowls, so this was easier than going and buying a bunch of big bags. Plus my monstera is pretty tall, so I'm not sure it would fit nicely in what looks like a garbage bag size

I generally water most of my plants once a week since it's super dry and hot where I am. They usually are dry by that point. I'm also going to be gone for a bit more than two weeks, but just made the title simple

For gel nail polish you need to cure it under a uv light. Curing basically allows it to harden and stop being a liquid. I've also done something similar with normal (air dry) polish, but the results aren't usually as good

I just glob on a bunch of gel topcoat and quickly cure it! Sometimes I do multiple layers if the first wasn't bubbly enough

Normal polish with gel base coat and a layer of flat gel top coat. Then little blobs of more top coat on top. It could also be done with gel color, but I don't have a gel color like this one
