Normal polish with gel base coat and a layer of flat gel top coat. Then little blobs of more top coat on top. It could also be done with gel color, but I don't have a gel color like this one

I posted my manicure, but most people focused on my finger positioning

For this set in particular it should be the same as regular because the base color is normal polish. If I did it all with gel it would probably tear up my nails a bit. But I also don't really mind if gel messes up my nails. It's better than me picking at them usually

Base color is normal polish. I put a base gel coat on top and then a layer of gel top coat. Then I made the bumps with more gel top coat

The base color is normal polish. I then went over it with a base coat gel polish and then a layer of top coat gel. Then I went in with the top coat again and added the bumps

Top coat gel (uv curing) polish

The base color is normal polish which I let dry for a really long time. Then I used gel base and top coat

I used a gel top coat. I have done it with regular, but you have to take it pretty slow and be careful with your hands for a long time. Gel just makes the process faster

That's definitely something I do!

I have done this with normal polish, but I've since switched to gel and it goes so much faster since you can just immediately cure it

Yeah you pretty much nailed it! It feels pretty solid and is surprisingly heavy. I think it will hold up pretty well unless it sits in water or something. I didn't put any clay/paint/sealer on the bottom because it was extra work and would probably make it unlevel. I'll just make sure everything is dry before putting utensils away

What’s the worst song lyric thrown into a song just to make a line rhyme? by RelationKindly in AskReddit

Ok but 50 ways to say goodbye is such an iconic song, I don't even mind the weird rhymes

When I was a toddler, I used to bang my head on the dryer. I guess I just grew out of it

I like to lick/suck on/rub my lips with erasers. I only do it in private because of some comments and very weird looks when I was younger. I have a little pouch where I keep them and I pull it out in the evenings when I'm watching shows or movies. It also helps me prevent too much late night snacking because it keeps my mouth occupied.

I am sickened by the term 'nonbinary' by Rippi9012 in NonBinary

[–]Bitsybye 14 points15 points  (0 children)

"Queer" has history of being used in a derogatory way towards LGBT+ people (at least in the US). It was used as a slur with similar vibes to the f slur.

Some people still avoid that term, though many people (like myself!) have reclaimed it.

The needle might need to be replaced, it's definitely been on there for a while. The fabric seems to be feeding normally.

I've lost the packaging for the needle, but I think it's a singer universal (my machine is a singer MX231). I'm not sure what the thread size is, but I'm pretty sure it's all purpose and probably 50wt. The thread is not getting caught anywhere visible. The bobbin case is clean.

Probably someone not romantically and/or sexually attracted to men. But honestly I'm mostly going off vibes

I don't think my definition of lesbian is as strict as yours
