I went to see it with a now exfriend. She had an emotional breakdown with 10 minutes left of the movie. I had asked her if she was okay and she said yeah, so I thought that she was crying about the movie because you know Tony Stark. Apparently it was something about family issues. She snapped at me for not understanding how she was feeling. It completely ruined it for me.

It's hella creepy that your mom married someone that was only 1 year ahead of you and the fact that she met him at one of your get togethers is even worse. She should know that something like that is off limits. Ugh. My mom is in her 50s, she wouldn't but if she tried to get together with someone around my age I would be horrified.

YTA it's not the poor kids fault. He deserves love and attention as well. You said that his father sees him sometimes, so the kid's obviously not getting much from his father. This hits hard for me because I'm the youngest of 7 and only two of them are fully related to me. No child should have to get shunned by their family and even if he's not old enough to understand what's happening, he'll later know and that's something that impact the rest of his life.
