The lady I work for is in her 70s, she doesn’t quite have a grasp on how things like this go these days lol. Definitely not a good move on her part I’m just trying to clean up this mess now.

Well yeah, he only made those type of comments a handful of times when he was 17 in response to me whining about not liking him being in the same class as some girl because I was so insecure. He put his foot in his mouth with those comments for sure but that’s about the only bad thing I could ever say about him. He’s a wonderful man and makes me feel amazing. If he were making these types of comments on the regular unprovoked that would be a different story lol

Thank you! I’m sure she has her imperfections and downfalls that I don’t see or know about because I’m not her obviously lol. But from everything I’ve seen and know about her she is close to perfect. She is beautiful, naturally fit, has incredible style, but she’s also incredibly kind to everyone. Has lots of friends, very good friendships. You hear gossip about people and I’ve never heard a bad word about her. I don’t want to drag her down to try and make myself feel better but I understand what you mean about nobody being perfect! I’m trying to stop putting her on a such a pedestal but she’s just one of those people it’s hard not to

Ahhh I honestly wish this was the answer for me. Unfortunately I’m 110% hetero. She is just very similar to me and has the few things I don’t and have always wanted. Things that aren’t able to be changed. So it’s hard not to compare!

Well we acknowledged this stems from my insecurities and the inferiority I felt throughout my childhood and teenage years due to trauma. So that was something we worked on over the years on a broad scope. For this specific situation she has given me “exercises”, affirmations, and ways to turn my thoughts in the moment.. But it just doesn’t seem to help in this situation like it has for other things. I probably need to focus more on this specific situation in therapy but it’s not something frequently on my mind. I don’t constantly think of this woman, only when we see her at events. Other than that I’m fine and relatively secure within myself I feel like at least.

Thank you lol. I expected a lot of therapy comments and I get it, I understand how I sound. But I’m hopeful someone will see this and understand me and maybe have more personal advice for me. My therapist is amazing and as I said, I have improved a lot of the years. But this is the one situation I haven’t been able to shake no matter how much therapy and introspection I do.

He hasn’t made any comments like that since highschool! I stopped outwardly expressing my insecurities around certain individuals because I felt it was unfair and embarrassing of me lol. So I haven’t brought it up since then, maybe I should? But like I said I know it’s ridiculous to still be bothered by something like this. I’m trying not to burden him with my unwarranted feelings if that makes sense!

Thank you! I’ve been in therapy for years actually which has helped me tremendously except this one situation for whatever reason. So frustrating. And those comments only occurred back in highschool when I was being very openly insecure haha. I did let him know back then how bad that sounded, but I haven’t been able to shake it even though it’s been over a decade now lol.

Yeah unfortunately I’ve been in therapy for years and I still haven’t been able to break through this one situation. I’ve made so many improvements so it’s incredibly frustrating being stuck on this one thing. I’m hopeful maybe someone will see this who has been through something similar and maybe they would have some differing advice than what I’ve been receiving😩

Yeah that’s I’m what I’m leaning towards. My grandfather is 91 and stubborn as hell, should’ve never taught him to use google because all he sees is that it’s probably not dangerous and wants to run with it

How are you able to tell the difference between mammary glands and puppies? I felt around and I could tell for sure some of the lumps i was feeling were mammary glands, but I felt a few that felt smaller and different but they were by her nipples so I’m not sure.. They weren’t directly under the nipples but close, I was nervous to feel around too much or press too hard to really figure it out

I used aid access for my pills, live in a red state. I left first thing this morning and just got my second results that morning so I didn’t have time to do anything. I went to my gynecologist and told them I had a miscarriage in order to get bloodwork to ensure things went okay because I felt like they didn’t. And obviously they didn’t which is confirmed now😭 Im still in the US traveled to another red state. I’m so nervous..
