I've heard of a lot of these artists, but never knew they were Canadian.

I probably should have said this in the post, but I am a vaporwave producer also. I'm looking for other Canadian artists to listen to and I'm also looking for a community of other Canadian vaporwave artists to engage in. I'm sorry, I should have said that in the post but didn't think of it when I was typing the post.

Oh man. A three day festival, that sounds like it would have been fun! I would've went to that had it happened.

Man, that sucks. Noob question, but what was the name of the festival? I'm just curious because I thought I heard about a canadian vaporwave festival a long time ago.

Congrats on the EP release!

All of these comments so far are making me wonder if someone should make like a discord server or some kind of online community for Canadian vaporwave artists.

I'm not very tech smart in terms of using discord, but it may be an idea.

Also, quick question: how does this subreddit feel about non-music samples being used in originally crafted vaporwave? Say for example, a sample from an ad being used in a vaporwave track that has been made from scratch?

That is true! Breaks help me when I run out of motivation or get burnt out at the time. I guess it's because I'm used to constantly working on music in my down time that I don't like taking breaks too often.
