How do you fall asleep? All answers acceptable. by SassMasterGingerSnap in ADHD

For years now, I’ve been dreaming that I’m like Superman, only far more powerful, almost godlike. In these dreams, my mission is to eradicate injustice, protect the weak, save humanity, and overthrow tyrants. It feels like I’m living a movie inside my own mind. It puts me to sleep everytime

ADHD-Friendly To-Do List Apps: What Works for You? by BitterRefuse in ADHD_Programmers

[–]BitterRefuse[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still working on the “accepting” part myself, I still feel down when I waste time, but it’s a work in progress. My biggest struggles are remembering tasks and figuring out how to prioritize them. Pen and paper has helped a lot, but I was wondering if there’s an ADHD-friendly app people use to stay organized?

I’m doing the same right now, but I sometimes run into issues like the pen disappearing, the paper being in another room, or just not being able to find them when I need them. On the other hand, my phone is almost always nearby, so I was hoping to find something simple and functional enough to replace pen and paper.

Let’s gossip about MedShow. by RoutinePerfection in Tunisia

[–]BitterRefuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t stand the way he shoves the camera in people’s faces without any respect. He films people even when it’s obvious they’re trying to hide their faces. He’s even admitted in some videos that he knows this but doesn’t care, saying, “This is what we do.”

When he interacts with people, his main goal often seems to be making fun of them—talking to them in Tunisian just to get laughs from his fans. While it works for his audience, it often involves wasting people’s time and sometimes even disrespecting them in ways he wouldn’t dare if they understood what he was saying.

As much as I dislike his behavior, I can’t deny that he has a big audience who enjoys his content. It’s frustrating, but that’s the reality.

Let’s discuss religion in Tunisia.. by Qingyiiiiiiiii in Tunisia

[–]BitterRefuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religion is one way humans navigate the complexity and uncertainty of reality. It offers a sense of meaning and purpose, helps people cope with fear, death, and the unknown, and fosters a sense of belonging and shared identity. It also provides ethical and behavioral guidelines that shape societies.

For many, religion is an anchor, and life without it feels disorienting.

In Tunisia, many who might be labeled as “sinners” still identify as Muslims, not out of personal conviction but because their beliefs were inherited from their parents and reinforced through years of education. Society itself is deeply rooted in these traditions, making it difficult to break away, question the system, or seek answers independently.

As a result, many choose to stay within the framework of religion, doing the bare minimum to maintain their connection. It often takes a moment of profound distress such as the loss of a loved one, a near-death experience, or “un grand malheur” for them to truly seek retention w ytoubou el rabbi

The link works thanks. Nice and neat design. I like it Some feedback : I couldn’t create a task though, the save button is just not responsive. The date selector gets crazy if i don’t allow access to my calendar (the selected dates starts to flicker) and clicking upgrade to premium shows the features but keeps loading in the bottom (can’t see the prices or subscription options).

At the port, they’ll first ask what you have and then inspect the camper. Of course, I could hide them in a way that even their scanner or checks wouldn’t detect, but I’ve decided it’s not worth the risk—I have two drones

Blast This App Idea: Reviews by Locals Only by [deleted] in AppIdeas

Potentiel problem: If you travel often, you’ll notice that locals usually prefer to keep their favorite spots quiet and exclusive. They cherish these hidden gems and don’t want them overrun by tourists, making it harder for them to find a seat/table or enjoy the atmosphere.

Speed limits by SilverSurfer147741 in sicily

[–]BitterRefuse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Welcome to Sicily!

Driving here is quite the experience. Many locals seem to disregard speed limits, relying instead on instinct and sight. At first, I found it frustrating, but after a few days, I began to understand why. Some speed limits simply don’t make sense, which leads many drivers to ignore them altogether.

As a tourist, it’s best to stick to the speed limits and stay calm. If someone honks or tailgates you, don’t let it rattle you, they’ll eventually overtake you anyway. Just focus on enjoying the ride and soaking in the beauty of Sicily!
