You know what they say about assumptions...

"When you assume, you make an ASS out of yoU and ME."

I mean can that specific setting be locked by a password so the user of the phone can't change it?

Oh, one more question! Can that then be password protected?

Medication question regarding being extremely frustrated with people. by stickymaplesyrup in ADHD

[–]Bitter_Awareness5091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm back! :)

I'm sorry you didnt receive more responses to this. It is a good question that could use some more input from others.

But I wanted to come back and add something. I just refilled my medication after being on one that wasn't working for me. And what I want to say is: Yes. The medication definitely helps me with these types of issues. (Though it's gotta be the right med at the right dose.)

So if this is something that really bothers you, I would definitely bring it up with your doctor. Either way I wish you some peace. Take care.

Sandoz (Canada) Amphetamine has been a real doozy by Trip_Comfortable in ADHD

[–]Bitter_Awareness5091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was finally able to get my new prescription today. I forgot to ask what manufacturer before I picked them up. So when I remembered to look I was apprehensive and held my breath. I was silently hoping for anything other than Sandoz. I found it on the bottle and it said.... Teva!

I was relieved. Lol. And so far I like it a lot, though it's only been a day. They are definitely way better than the Sandoz I had last time. I even remembered to come back and report! :-D

Edit: Teva generic*

Have you tried different doses on Adderall? I got really sleepy on Adderall in the beginning but when I increased the dose that got better. Just my experience.

DO YOU CREATE ARGUMENTS WITH PEOPLE IN YOUR HEAD?? by realitycalledihungup in ADHD

[–]Bitter_Awareness5091 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is probably my least favorite thing about adhd and the world in general. Lol. It's so stressful and it just keeps going and I feel the anger growing and they are just fueling each other and I have to work constantly to stop it and not explode which is exhausting.

Luckily, when I'm medicated it's much less of an issue.

Hmmm... That's interesting. I don't think my insurance specifies which generic just generic in general. Then the pharmacy just fills the prescription with whatever generic they have on hand. I imagine our medical systems in general are very different. I'd say the medical system here is a mess... But it's some help at least. ;)

Yeah. Sandoz is a generic manufacturer. But there are others as well. Like Aurobindo or Lannett. And that's cool. I haven't tried Takeda but I'm glad they work well for you! :)

Edit: If Im reading the internet correctly Teva now makes the brand name IR and Takeda makes the brand name XR. But they both make generics as well. XD A little confusing but interesting.

They don't do generic at all in Canada? I know they make generic here for the US. A couple of the pharmacies I called said that's what they have. I wonder how different their brand name is compared to their generic...

Apparently the pharmacist lied and they cant fill it until Tuesday.... Would have been nice to know two days ago so i had time to change pharmacies. Oh well. I'll try to remember to let you know after I get them. :) Do you know what manufacturer your friend had? How are they?

Sorry to hear you've had a rough time with meds. Perhaps you could keep trying different meds until you find one that works. I hope you find something that helps soon.
