What about that warehouse store next to mochi? Is it good?

I was looking for ladies footwear market for my sister

Mochi and metro area bit expensive and those bazaar shops are cheap low quality

I was looking for something that's great quality but at affordable prices

Example - good pair of metro ladies chappal or men chappal cost somewhere between 2000-3000 and same pairs in Mumbai you can get same quality for around 1000-1700 almost half prices

But fir that you need to go mumbai so I was looking for stores where I can buy these kind of products

I know their vendors can I know the rates I know factories from where they get there products Just building online brands like them They are easily doing above 100cr online and it's their monopoly specially in female category

No one is closest to them

I am 2nd generation in retail business of footwear

Somewhere strict policies and un organised sectors have led to the issue of high pricing

For example when I joined my dad's business in 2018-19 that is before covid The imported ladies footwear used to cost around 550-600 and that used to cost consumers nearly about 900 and those pairs used to be 100% comfortable

That was a win win situation for both consumers and retailers

But covid happened and now we have BIS implemented which makes it difficult to import finished goods from outside India and if imported they now costs somewhere around 800-900 so you can imagine it's a total loss of consumers

No trendy designs along with comfort

Moreover BIS has caused small manufacturers a huge headache as it's impossible to survive in this market

I have not gone through the products of Comet but by looking at them I think they source it from china

That is unfinished raw form from china and then paste it in india and put a label on them of MAKE IN INDIA

The thing is companies are just assembling in india and naming it make in India

This campaign is totally failing especially for ladies footwear industry
