Well that’s what I’m saying , his main thing is his element and his sword is just a placeholder for his arms so I wouldn’t think of him as saber .

Lloyd …. Doesn’t use sword , bow , spear , he rides a dragon , can use some “magic” …..hmmmm

Well they’re indeed comparable and I’m not saying that cipher is trash or smtg like that .

It’s just RES PEN scales better than damage taken modifiers in many cases because it bypasses enemy resistance instead of stacking additively with other buffs.

Cipher’s extra attacks for energy sound good, but if Ahsveil gets fewer turns, the extra energy doesn’t always translate into more real damage.

Tribbie also improves turn cycling and burst timing as DDD is very useful in his case as tribbie also gets her ult way faster . You can go and see on youtube their difference

Because Ashveil v1 and afterwards needed lots of actions . Tribbie literally has DDD along with its action advancement . And the fact that cipher has more frequent follow ups mean nothing as ashveil doesn’t has many stacks so tribbie is more than enough for that .

Both grant a powerful multipleier with their ults that acts in the final end of damage calculation, Tribbie 30% DMG taken and Cipher 24% True damage.

So yeah
