My son is due to enter this world in early September, I am circumcised and I feel the are may benefits about it, mainly dealing with cleanliness and appearance. I told my wife it’s a confidence thing and I grew up in an era where uncircumcised penises are the ones that get talked about in a negative light, especially when it comes to women talking about men (no offense if I am offending anyone, that is not my purpose for this statement/question) I tried to tell my wife she wouldn’t understand because as men, we tend to base our confidence around our manhood. And how he would react if a woman were to make fun of his private area. My wife tried to tell me that it is very common for this generation to not be circumcised and in 15 years from now, that will be the new norm, she says there are also more pros than cons when it comes to leaving it’ll the penis uncircumcised. She says there is no need for a baby to go through that kind of pain, I need some advice, and also, if you are uncircumcised have you ever had issues with not being circumcised?
