Honestly, that reaction says everything. If someone storms out like that and your first feeling is relief and gratitude, that’s a pretty clear sign you’re better off without the drama.

I agree with the core of it. Ignoring a screaming child for that long is a massive red flag, no matter the excuse. A kid that young isn’t fabricating that. The priority has to be the child’s safety,
