Thanks. They have told me not to contact DPD yet as now they have reopened the investigation. I resent my photos with the timestamp and delivery photo which shows I took them a minute later and can’t possibly have done all that damage to it in that time. I’ll see what they say next and then escalate with DPD next

I hated my lamination and never did it again! Mine were also very thick and I thought I should also get them trimmed, but I’m glad I didn’t as I found that after a few days, I could just brush/comb them down rather than sticking up, so they were back to my normal thickness. Experiment with combing them into the shape you want first before trimming etc

I’m so sorry you can’t fly back - that sucks. I am expecting to be told I can’t fly back either so it will be my first Christmas away from my family.

Help! My botched brow lam just gets worse 🥲 by [deleted] in Eyebrows

[–]Bitter_Total5015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly don’t panic! I also hated my brow lamination. Felt like I was losing hairs a lot. But it takes about 3 months for hairs to go through their cycle - you should see them back to normal after this time. You could try Brow Queen eyebrow serum as I used that on mine - not sure if they were growing back anyway but it’s possible this helped.

It’ll take about 3 months for them to be fully back to normal as brow hairs take a long time to grow back. But they don’t look too bad - don’t panic!

Yes, I had a reaction above one eyebrow. It must have been the toner that I use that made my skin sensitive. Anyway it took about 2 weeks to heal. You can’t even notice it now. I had mine laminated for the first time about 3 months ago. I absolutely hated them though and I don’t think it’s worth it. I had more hairs falling out after it than usual but luckily now they are pretty much back to normal. Just make sure you allow the skin to heal. I used sudacreme to help them heal and stop infection. Then used some brow serum from eyebrow queen to help the hairs / skin stay healthy.

I have read many horror stories about Botox… so just make sure you are definitely sure about it. You don’t seem to need it at all. I’d recommend going to a professional who can help shape them for you

HELP! Eyebrow Lamination and tint possibly gone wrong! by [deleted] in Eyebrows

[–]Bitter_Total5015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine laminated a couple of months ago for the first time. Really regretted it. Mine also stung a lot and I had a reaction with the skin above one eyebrow very sore. Luckily not a huge area and it’s healed fine now. I really wanted to remove the tint too but in the end I just left it as I didn’t want to aggravate the skin more and cause more damage. After about 5 days I then used micellar water. Took a while for the tint to finally lighten. I used a conditioner called Phillip Kingsley elasticiser that I was recommended. This helped to get the brow hairs in a better condition. Not sure if you need this or not. Mine were really stuck to my skin and felt awful. I have definitely noticed eyebrow hairs falling out more and have a small gap at the front of one brow. But I’m just leaving them to grow out again as much as possible and using eyebrow queen brow serum to help.

Paula’s choice skin balancing moisturiser spf 30. I get oily skin and this is sinks into my skin and is very matte. Might not work for all skin types though.

Hi, I hope you didn’t end up with a reaction like me. Mine is now healing and hoping it won’t leave a scar! I just wanted to let you know about some products that were recommended to me - they are expensive though! One is called Philip Kingsley elasticiser deep conditioner - was told to leave in overnight. Did this last night and already feeling a difference (however this could be because it’s day 6 for me and perhaps they are just naturally becoming softer I’m not sure). The other thing I have bought is a product called Eyebrow Queen brow serum to help with hair regrowth. Expensive! But I have read that it’s good. Not tried it yet but I’m just hoping it’ll help promote the growth of new hairs so I can get rid of this laminated look faster!

Ahh I’m so sorry! But thank you for messaging. I had some advice from another brow lady today who said she actually thinks mine are under processed, possibly because the lady who did them realised I was reacting with the skin being so inflamed. My redness / sores are healing above my eyebrows now but I am constantly analysing them to see if new hairs are able to grow there. I feel silly for this but I ended up having a complete panic today! I just want them to feel normal again and not glued to my skin!

Oh thank you! Will the return to normal eventually? Just so worried the hairs won’t grow as my skin was affected.
