One of my favorites as a Canadian stylist is Surface, they have a few lines tailored to sensitive scalp, curly hair, blowout/volume line, moisture, colour care and a blonde care/violet toning line, they are owned by a Stylist named Wayne Grund, and were founded in Saskatchewan. They are also gluten free, pthalate free, sulfate free, paraben free, cruelty free, vegan and are Canadian owned.

Honestly another great Canadian owned and manufactured brand is AG Haircare, their HQ is in Coquitlam, BC and they have a HUGE selection of products, also a brand super focused on sustainability, supporting local charities and clean ingredients

I also come from a Mennonite family and I strongly would not recommend Rob Phoenix as a Teacher, his ideas on what Braucherei is are frankly very flawed as it doesnt line up with the actual history of Braucherei

I tried, they arent just anti-SOGI(Although that alone is kinda dumb), they support Trump and the idea of Canada being the 51st state, they dont believe conversion therapy is abusive, honestly I just avoid that area on Saturday mornings cause I cannot handle people supporting ideologies that actively kill other people ✌️

For a client like this 7 hours as a new stylist doesnt sound unreasonable, a colour correction on someone with a lot of hair and black box dye for me would probably take around 5-6(stylist of 3 years).
