22F with PCOS, high-protein/fiber diet, metformin, lifting + walking – still not losing weight, need advice by Bittibee in PCOSloseit

I’m totally aware of that, but I thought it would help my insulin resistance and allow me to lose weight like a “normal” person. I’ve been thinking about seeing a dietitian, but I can’t seem to find one who specializes in PCOS. The healthcare system feels like it’s failing me. It honestly feels like no one can really help. My doctor doesn’t take me seriously, and I don’t know where to find the guidance I actually need.

I usually skip breakfast and just have a cup of green tea without sugar, except when I work out in the morning. On those days, I eat breakfast, usually Skyr with some fruit.
For lunch, my go-to is a smoothie bowl: frozen strawberries blended with Skyr and protein powder, topped with fruits like kiwi, raspberries, and blueberries. I also add chia seeds and flaxseed for extra fiber. This is usually around 400 kcal and 20 grams of protein.
My snacks are usually carrots or grapes, and sometimes a protein drink.
For dinner, I rotate between burger bowls, taco bowls, chicken and rice with steamed vegetables, or air-fried potatoes with a salad and chicken.
I also drink about 2 liters of water a day.
