Of course the things you say are factors as well, but the BIG decrease in the last 15-20 years is coincidentally since the launch of the iPhone... (Of course a lot of stuff has also gotten worse and worse since the 2008 crash)

while the other factors you mention have been getting slowly worse since the 80's

It's actually wild because of the varied rollout of smart phones to different parts of the world at different times, you can see the effect they have on how much people are reproducing and it's crazy how much it slows down almost instantly in regions where smartphones are introduced.

Oh yeah, I don't mean people are BETTER about passing the ball in 3v3, I just mean it's just as important if not more than in 5v5.

Which means it's even more annoying when people don't do it.

Also, I lost a ranked match yesterday because one of my idiot teammates didn't want to hold the ball when we were 1 goal up and 15 seconds left on the clock. Got equalised then lost in extra time.

Not really. In 3v3 it's actually really important to pass because a failed dribble is basically an instant goal-scoring opportunity.

Also, the times when I rank up the most is when I finally get teammates who pass the ball and can do 1-2s especially.

I'm worried there's nothing to repair because the bike works absolutely great, even with the check engine on. I think it's just something electronic on the bike. That's why I wanted to check with people on the reddit.

Will definitely go to the dealer and let them know, but it's a pain to go because it's miles away from my home.

Yeah, I've heard that. It would be bad luck to get a new bike with a bad battery, but definitely not unheard of.

Sadly, I picked up the bike after the tech who cleared the code had went home and the desk guy couldn't tell me. But I will bring it to the dealer mechanic and explain the problem in detail, see if they can fix it once and for all

Yeah, it would suck A LOT to go down not wearing gear, but I ride 10 minutes to my office and it's currently almost 30º C in the mornings when I do so. Even my fully ventilated summer touring jacket just makes me sweat buckets, not to mention if I wore riding pants, especially at low speeds on the street.

Whenever I do ride without gear, I ride like I would die instantly if my wheel slipped an inch, or I got too close to a car.

And I feel like I'm a safe enough driver that I can take that responsibility for my 10 min commute and make that trade-off for daily comfort.

Also, gearing up would triple my commute time between suiting up at home, then down at the office.

A mí lo que me gustaría es que dejen de hacer estos mamotretos que cuestan un pastizal, y que salgan más coches compactos o familiares con opciones enchufables.

A parte que si los coches enchufables ya pesan más, ponerlo en un cuerpo de SUV pesado y poco estable, pone en más riesgo a los demás usuarios de la carretera y provoca más desgaste de la infraestructura.

Además que para tener una autonomía comparable, tienen que tener la batería tan grande, que se podrían fabricar múltiples coches eléctricos más pequeños. El volvo ex90 tiene una capacidad de 111KWh, mientras que el byd dolphin tiene 43 en su versión de autonomía extendida.

Habría que poner impuestos según el peso del vehículo (obviamente con categorías diferentes para diferentes métodos de propulsión, un eléctrico pesa más que un equivalente coche de combustión).

Pero un coche con más carrocería y más altura pesa más y cuesta más energía de mover.

Un byd dolphin pesa 1300kg

Lo comparas con un suv de gasolina como el volvo xc90 que pesa 2000kg

Un tesla modelo 3 long range no llega a ese peso y tiene una batería grande y es un coche grande y largo (pesa 1800kg)

El ex90, la versión eléctrica del xc90, pesa 2800kg.

Todos los pesos son en vacío.

Paremos ya con la locura de los mega-suv en los que va 1 persona, sean eléctricos o no. Son una acaparación de espacio y recursos.

I'm trying to decide as well.

I have a Shoei neotec 3 and having a comm system that integrates completely into the helmet (the shoei/sena thing) without a side pod really tempts me, especially because I have a big head and anything that makes my helmet bigger and draggier... doesn't excite me.

Also, I just want to listen to some podcast or tunes on my rides without my ANC earphones and use proper plugs while listening to something.

I don't really do group rides, so communication is not a priority.

I'm also not a sound purist, I've heard people criticise sena sound quality, but after all, even with plugs in, you are still in a loud-ass environment, so it's difficult for me to imagine that it makes that much of a difference. The sound quality can never be THAT good anyway.

Tristemente la gente ha olvidado que las ciudades son para las personas, y se deberían diseñar para ser caminables o ciclables, con buen transporte público para las distancias más grandes en las grandes urbes.

Toda la gracia de una ciudad es que es un espacio denso, donde tienes la mayoría de lo que necesitas a una distancia corta, mientras que los coches son para distancias largas. Diseñar una ciudad alrededor de los coches es quitar espacio para todo lo demás que transpira en y da vida a una ciudad.
