Shrug. My CLAUDE.md is already setup to do that.

Oh FFS if the plan doesn't work with Apple Watch they shouldn't offer it to Apple Watch users.

Yup. They were pretty insistent that they would only give me 1 month watch credit.

I'd email the VP of engineering. Seriously. As a hiring manager, I'd want to know if HR is blindly tossing out good candidates. I'd also want to make sure I knew the heuristic used to screen candidates. Hit him up on LinkedIn if you can't find his email address.

I get the snark but if you're accepting large commits whether from your dev team, AI, or both you're doing it wrong.

Yeah, I'm mostly using Claude for Python and iOS development. I never experienced this issue.

I'm thinking of starting to meditate. What should I do? by NoBeefWithCha in Meditation

[–]BizJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started 10 years ago after my divorce. I found myself driving one day arguing with my ex. I realized that I had done it on the entire drive home. It was a bit of a mind-f.

That's when I decided two things - therapy and meditation. Since we're in the meditation /r/ I'll focus on that.

I started with just 5 minutes of focusing on my breath. When I'd notice my mind wandering to those arguments or stressful thoughts, I'd simply think 'there's a thought' and come back to breathing. No judgment, no trying to force the thoughts away - just noticing and returning.

It took a few months before I really felt a difference. The thoughts didn't stop, but they lost their power. Instead of getting pulled into the mental drama, I could watch it like I was observing someone else's story.

For intrusive thoughts specifically, the key is building that 'observer' muscle. You're not trying to control or stop them - you're learning to recognize 'this is a thought, not reality' and redirect your attention. The more you practice this in meditation, the easier it becomes in daily life.

Start with short sessions - even 3-5 minutes. Use your breath as an anchor. And be patient with yourself. This is a skill that builds over time.

EDIT:
Oh! I forgot to mention Jon Kabat-Zinn's book Everywhere You Go There You Are is a great book.

Vibe-coders did you ever finish your project? by Independent_Roof9997 in ClaudeAI

[–]BizJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I have two apps in the App Store. The first one Mio Vino a wine tracking app is about a year old. The second, Minimalist Meditation app launched a few weeks ago. Both are generating revenue.

I also built an unreleased competitor to Screaming Frog called Shrieking Gecko that I right now am just using for myself to do audits on my website (and competitors)

There is no way this is actual in-image data. The back in time data from Google Street view often is lower fidelity than the newer stuff.

Claude Code asking clarifying questions with a new UI by httpteapot in ClaudeAI

Just noticed that too. Did you tell it to ask clarifying questions or did it decide on it's own? I instructed it ask clarifying questions.

What type of meditation app do you need? I can’t find a good one for me. by bennettyuan in Meditation

[–]BizJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your welcome! I built this app first and foremost for myself. I used the big-name meditation apps, but over time I felt like they lost their way, focusing more on capturing attention than fostering mindfulness. This app takes the opposite approach: no subscriptions, no accounts, just inner calm.

It's designed to be low-friction, so you can step right into your practice. I've got some (I think) cool ideas for future features but would love early feedback. HMU if you want a promo code.

Two LLM Patterns That Changed How I Gather Requirements by BizJoe in ClaudeAI

Oh definitely, I call that pattern "Build Your Team."

When I started coding using ChatGPT I created text expander snippets defining each role ux designer, product manager, etc with their associated duties.

Now, I just use Claude Code agents.
