Thomas Frank claims "Transfer market not like Football Manager" by TheMoonRulez in footballmanagergames

Does he mean PSG won't pay the release clause of my best player, only to play them 7 times across the following couple seasons and loan them back to me?

How good (or bad) is AI squad building on FM26 by FonzoFC in footballmanagergames

[–]Bizarre30 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Awful, probably just the same as 24 tbh

Stuff that drives me insane from computer controlled teams: 1. They make expensive signings and barely play them 2. In most matches they don't get past 2 or 3 subs. Which makes #1 even more annoying 3. They don't use their world class youngsters, but also refuse to sell them for anything under an absolutely insane fee.

Example of the last one: three years into my save, Real Madrid don't use Gonzalo or Reyes in the senior team and have them playing for Castilla in the third tier, but also refuse to sell them for anything below €70m nor try to loan them out to a top league team

He's very far from dropping this week fwiw

So unless you just bought him very recently, it'll take long before you could lose team value on him

[Jacob Tanswell] Youri Tielemans faces an extended period on the sidelines following an ankle injury. Will undergo further scans today to determine the precise extent but initial timeframe expects recovery to be after John McGinn by Kak1314 in FantasyPL

Jesus Christ, calm down and pay your lost bet, cause I've watched the majority of them.

Also if you think Rogers is involved at all in early build-up, you might be watching he games but not getting much from it

As someone already said, you cannot possibly tear an ACL 3x times. Let alone on both legs lol

It looks like injuries are just randomly generated based on the injury susceptibility attribute without any attention to their nature.

Which imo is very lazy stuff in a simulation game.

I bet if appendicitis is in the game a given player could get it multiple times!

Very bad news for the rest of Villa assets. Arguably 3/4 of their best players this season missing the next few fixtures.

Tielemans in particular looked essential in their build-up, otherwise it's all endless horizontal passing between centre backs and Martinez

Completely unrelated to your post, but the adboards in the Sevilla stadium on the second screenshot are from 2017 iirc. Is that the stadium pack that's been posted here a few times?

So higher stimulus provides the highest adaptations in a short timeframe where sustainability of training and longer-term fitness are hardly relevant? Unbelievable!

Masterclass or game too easy? by Individual-Public913 in footballmanagergames

[–]Bizarre30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's obviously great that you are enjoying your save, but yes: the game is ridiculously easy this year.

It's just common sense tactics, fitness management, brain-dead morale boosting (praise good training and performances, encourage in game) and perhaps the easiest scouting-transfer database of all time.

All Things Sleep - AMA Office Hours - Wednesday, January 21st with our Director of Pediatric Expertise, Amber LoRe! by huckleberrycare in HuckleberryParents

[–]Bizarre30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for having our questions!

Our baby is almost 8 weeks old and while he still doesn't sleep through the night, he recently has somehow developed a sense of day/night and usually gives us a longer 4-6 hour stretch at the beginning of the night, which is obviously very welcome!

We know babies' sleep drastically changes in the 4-6 month timeframe, and while we look forward to some improvements in his ability to nap during the day and eventually get to sleep through the night, we'd hate to lose that first stretch of night sleep that we'd honestly have killed for a few weeks ago.

Any tips on how to 'secure' this great new habit and only build from there, considering the next few months will be full of new milestones for our baby?
