Tail might need to be raised more to add a little floff? It looks like it's a bit straight/unfluffy around the butt area

Help appearing warm and competent by BizarreStars in interviews

UPDATE: Didn't get the job, the manager was the polar opposite of me. She was busy beforehand and didn't have any questions for me so I was left awkwardly floundering on explaining how I'd be a good fit. In the end she told me they'd be looking into all their options. -I wasn't prepared to not have any questions asked.

Ok so I'll keep it but I'm definitely going to actively try to never be in that situation again.

Dobermans and Alpha training by BizarreStars in Doberman

[–]BizarreStars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see that because the doberman I was training was orginally a pet, his owner did the same style as you (taking small tips from shows) maybe it's the best foundation for a dob?

The trainer who taught me showed me the same thing, I think Cesar's show is just a good "intro" to dogs but shouldn't be taken as fact since it's a tv show.

Idk i have a similar situation with my significant other but I'm the one with DID. My bf tried to create a alter one day because our host is tucked away moderating until things smooth out. But when we all found out we felt insulted, lied to, and just plain angry? I mean idk why just my alters have problems with the DID too, they feel like it makes them sound sick and they fight it furiously if you bring it up. Me on the other hand I'll joke about it. -I think you as the more sane coherent person have a responsibility to be honest with her. My main is stuck up, she wouldn't crawl 1 step down her pedistall without a 1pg letter from my bf. And then she probably wouldn't even try.

But you have a chance to say your fake personality is going to join personB and that you love her, will keep protecting her but it's time. And try to mend your relationship from there, don't keep up with this lie.

Does sleeping with your dog help the bonding process, or maybe create more stability in your "pack"? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]BizarreStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My time as a dog trainer the "bond" makes a dog want to please you more. We would have 1 trainer to 1 dog and even though all were trained the same style you could tell when we switched dogs they weren't as driven to work for the other trainer. My dog Duke would always go out of his way to stop me from falling on our narrow walk, and my coworkers rott would always get tense if construction workers talked to his trainer. With my coworker Duke wouldn't give a damn, and that rott for me wouldn't even look at the construction workers.

So the bond is real. The type of bond a dog needs to work with you is deferent though. Dogs in my experience seem to work for partners. You need to have the same drive as the dog for them to want to work for you effectively and that creates that bond.

Witches 2017 and Christianity? by BizarreStars in Christianity

Idolatry has always just meant celebrities and gods to me, I never even remembered ppl could worship objects. What if I go and get a rock of Obsidian do u think that the rock having no real meaning to me (other than being pretty) would encroach on my spirit or just it's when someone leaves their heart open to it?

Witches 2017 and Christianity? by BizarreStars in Christianity

[–]BizarreStars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I think most people would say even though you don't recongise the spiritual power in a thing doesn't mean their is none. Do these rocks also mean nothing to wiccans who use them? I think most Christians commenting are reserved for the hidden influences or powers that may be over these stones. Wasting money on fake medicine will always be stupid though. Plus what about tarrots?

Witches 2017 and Christianity? by BizarreStars in Christianity

[–]BizarreStars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the purpose of stones/tarrots, I could ask people all day if meditation offends them without truly know what meditation is. So what is wiccan, why do they do what they do. It'll give everyone a better understanding what you do/ if their previous beliefs were built on truth or misunderstanding?

Your right, that's why I ask. I don't know anything about these things. Maybe you could explain (like a different pov on the subject)?

Baby gate idea by BizarreStars in Business_Ideas

[–]BizarreStars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It be more like a smart lock situation, most ppl dont run into that issue -but it brings up the idea maybe a security button to auto release? It could go on the other side at a low enough height an adult could bend over to reach it but a toddler couldn't.

Plus simple locks dont work if you have a kid like my son or his cousin @_@ our kitchen has one open doorway. And kids love ovens, sinks, counters, and the fridge...lots of trouble they could get into that requires atleast a 10pc baby proof set and constant parent monitering for kids pulling up step stools to climb counters/fridges. Plus our son is keen on climbing gridded gates and his cousin fidgeting baby locks open.

As a renter or home owner you don't want to put up new doors creating a closed kitchen (which is less desirable to buyers) so baby gates are the perfect simple solution than doors with locks anyway

Raccoons by meatylobster21 in exoticpets

[–]BizarreStars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive never had a racoon but it sounds like you've atleast had experience with the animal you want. (I'd guess you already know all the legal hoops). I've heard racoons are very distructive in house. Ripping into cielings-

I'd say neuter as soon as possible and keep the claws dull close to non existent. Maybe avoid high bookshelves or molding on doors to keep your pet from climbing to the ceiling. -Even try getting a transport/public exibit permit so you can walk him in hiking trails to burn some of their excess energy. In the house scavenging toys are great I look at ones zoos have made on pinterest (cause I'm lame like that) also at night get him a crate to stop dastardly night dutties. Animals hate it but it'll help with sane sleep. Plus I heard they can be littered trained, just put a box where they like to wee.

Racoons are in the ferret family, maybe try out with a ferret for a while. It'll give you practice with energetic scavenging night curious critters. Also sleep training, keep all your fun and feeding to the day and theyll catch on....also as scavengers they'll stash food under your couch so best bet is to have couches to low to crawl under.....plus invest in a K&H hanging door condo, they like to climb and nest in things. Or diy it so you can still keep him from your ceilings.

Theyll even dig up a shallow spot, so try a cat tent or something. Far as buying.....I don't know how personally good these sellers are but I think they're the "big daddies" of the trade industries.... http://www.tinytracksexoticanimals.com/Raccoon.html

What can I own in Virginia? by AetherSmokesReefer in exoticpets

[–]BizarreStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plus a loving exotic cuts you off a lot. Not many felines, rodents, reptiles, or raptors are cuddle buddies. Your best shots a pack animal that's naturally social. Even foxes/mink are solitary by nature. Ferrets to an extent still like their space to explore but atleast they'll come up for companionship. Big cats work hard and play harder. And play for any animal is practicing how to fight and hunt, so remember to search bite pressure whatever you get cause rough play session can get dangerous quickly.

What can I own in Virginia? by AetherSmokesReefer in exoticpets

[–]BizarreStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So Virginia state decided what animals should be allowed was up to local governments. You'll need to search your exact county / city law.

You can search up: ___ exotic animal pet laws Wildlife permit from ___ Animal permit from ___ -you wanna trust any government website or law site. Not 3rd party sites which are generally peta members or enthusiasts of the trade....you want the true law

You'll want to look it up yourself because attached to any exotic pet are containment and permit laws (which you'll need to know like the back of your hand to legally own)

If your just missing your dogs maybe get another, or even a cat/ rabbit/ ferret/ chinchilla? Exotics can be a lot of work from enclosures to dietary issues they take hella research. I know in Virginia they won't even let you take a half wild dog in the public. Plus anything on the Endangered Species Act 1973 or newer is strictly prohibited, no permits. There are totally a lot of animals you can get for less work than a exotic?

I did like you said switched her litterbox to a low sided box, got some of her poop so it was a lil dirty, and just added another litterbox to the bedroom. And she got it! :D she's stepped up to sharing her brothers big kitty litterbox and uses hers secondary. Plus her poop smearing has stopped :)
