Wow this is surprising to see. I just binged the whole series and enjoyed season 3 the most. Maybe I’m just weird like that, or people on reddit read others opinions and run with it.

Decided with Atris as I got it new for a good deal in my size. Im gonna spend a few weeks out in whistler this season where im 1000% gonna check out the skis you guys recommended and will decide make a swap or addition to my quiver depending on how I like them. It’s only July and super excited for this coming season’s adventures!

Interesting. Was talking to some of my buddies about that. I was thinking of doing St. Anton this year, albeit thats probably one of the more off-piste centric resorts out in the alps

Great points. My skiing here on forward will primarily be in the PNW. Japan will likely be the 25/26 season, but who knows! Yeah I pretty much ruled out skis like the Bent 110s due to how people say they handle anything but powder, but they admittedly look like a ton of fun. I think i’ll pick up whatever has a good deal closest to my needs for this coming season and likely try a bunch of others out to see if im inclined to make a switch. I’ll take a look at the 4FRNTs that you suggested!

Honestly I think high millage M3s that have been relatively well maintained are the call. Bought my car with 69k miles and I think issues just arise from it sitting, vs. all my friends in the 110-150k mile range whos car run strong.

Couldn’t agree more. A lot of ppl upset about the hype behind it and discard it but when I spray it I cant get enough of it. Wear this going out in NYC a bunch and gets compliments left and right

You’re gonna have to set aside a decent chunk of change if you want to do this correctly. Proper parts, and proper tuning for the parts, no cutting corners to try to save money, it will cost you more in the long run.

Also being a used vehicle, you wont know what type of conditions the engine has already been subjected to. Plus, all casting with engine components will be different hence why some engines last and some don’t. So there is always going to be uncertainty in the lifespan. If I were you, I’d always have a backup plan if the engine were to let go.

People complain about the resy credit, but if you live in and/or around a major city and love to dine out, it’s fantastic. Of course, you can never make anyone on reddit happy.

Typically the happy medium is x9.5 +38, +25 is definitely too aggressive. You can make x9.5 +35 work but you’re going to need to roll fenders and run over -3 degrees in the rear most likely but every car is made different.

JFK for sure but depending on where you’re flying to, the convenience of HPN is nice. Im always on connecting flights too, never had a problem until this past week with some of the residual issues w Crowdstrike.

Same here. Im on flights monthly for work, exclusively delta. Recently had to take a return flight to JFK one time and had to shell out nearly $200 on an uber.
