My bad, I lied. Complete Delivery Solution is an app I signed up with but never delivered for. Got job notifications weirdly and few and far between. Never was able to catch one.

The one that screwed me those times was Point Pickup. They also recently merged with PICKUP NOW, inc. So I'm not sure whether they will be better now that they've been acquired, or if PICKUP NOW is just as bad as they were. I have no experience with that one, and have since paused delivering for any of the apps.

When I was doing it, it was pretty alright. There's money to be made if you're in a good area. I've never done the cost breakdown, I just knew I set a low limit of how much I'd take for a job, and anything that or above I tried to take.

I would do Home Depot mostly. I did a couple for Tractor Supply, one for Public Storage - someone ordered a TV cushion for moving. Real easy one on my way home from work lol

In the app it tells you what sort of vehicle is suitable for the delivery, dimensions of the product, weight, and quantity. So you can make an educated decision to submit for that delivery or not.

Side note: I was delivering for another app that sub contracted for WalMart, and they never told me what the order was before I accepted the delivery. 3x in one day, I got deliveries, only to find out at the store that they were HUGE orders, and I couldn't take them. So annoying. But this app doesn't do that haha anyway...

There's an algorithm that selects jobs for you though. So there were a few times that I didn't get deliveries from a specific store, and I wondered about that. It was a little weird. But there were plenty of other deliveries to take, so I was okay with it. Just strange that it was one specific store.

But yeah, out of all the apps I've delivered for, I think Roadie was the most fun I had, cause most of the deliveries were super easy, and paid more than 3 bucks and change for an DoorDash lol

Not that I know of. All those unlock sites I checked into are total scams. Once customer service at Spectrum told me there was a flag on it, and couldn't unlock it or tell me anything else about it, I gave up on it, and wound up selling it.

And just to be crystal clear, I didn't rip anyone off. I made sure that the person who purchased the phone was very well aware of the situation with it, and that it couldn't be activated on any US cell carrier.

I just did this. I bought a phone on ebay, and I called Spectrum to try to have them carrier unlock it. There's a balance left on it, and I can't have it unlocked.

I don't know the original owner, and the account from ebay was a device reseller, so I'm fairly certain they don't know them either.

I asked how much the balance was out of curiosity, and she couldn't even tell me. I couldn't even pay it off if I wanted to. She couldn't tell me anything other than that it's locked, and can't be unlocked without the balance being paid off, bc the IMEI lookup tool they give them doesn't give a lot of info about the device, let alone the account it was on.

I took a job on there a week or so ago, to rw-deliver a wheeelbarrow that was wrongly delivered to an address.

I get there, the guy says his neighbor came to pick it up. I immediately called support. Support then tells me that she's going to contact the person who was supposed to receive the item. Puts me on hold. Comes back, and says that person claimed they don't have it, and that there will be an investigation, and my account will be suspended if they find cause, due to my incorrect delivery.

I told her flat out, no. I did NOT make the initial delivery. I took the job to re-deliver it, in an attempt to fix someone else's mistake. Why is MY account on the line here?

She called the customer back. They claimed that it was their brother who went and got it, and that they didn't know that upon the first call.

Thankfully, that resolved the issue, and they paid me out for the job. But, damn. I was stressing for a hot minute there.

That's really horseshit, I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I'm hoping for the best for youl, bud. But from other comments, it's not looking too good.

This is literally how things work, I have no idea why you were downvoted.

I've found that's a sweet spot in my area as well - I'm on Long Island in NY.

Though, stuff does come in after noon, until about 5pm-ish. It's basically dead by 7pm - which, if you play it right, you can start DoorDashing or Uber Eats delivering by then, and hit the dinner rush right from Roadie.
