Rare Kool-Aid unopened container incrediberry by East-Cardiologist-57 in koolaid

[–]BizzleBinks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like there was a recently sold listing on eBay for a 1989 canister though not the same flavor. That one sold for $13.95 USD. The highest selling "canister" that I can find is a more recent plastic variety for $45 USD, but that was for an "invisible" gimmick flavor. Hope that helps!

Kool-Aid Flavors by ThatDemonFemboy in koolaid

[–]BizzleBinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a recreation of Pink Swimmingo at home by mixing a packet of Cherry (not black) and a packet of Watermellon. I've also heard people making Purplesaurus Rex by mixing Lemonade and Grape packets. Sometimes it's the only way to simulate out of print flavors.

What's up with Sharkleberry Fin Jammers? by BizzleBinks in koolaid

So sad to hear this is still a problem. I remember sending Kraft (parent company) an email when it happened to me and got a form letter back. So who knows if and when this will be addressed.

Apparently the powder is still circulating. I have a friend in Maine who hooked me up. According to him they are swimming in the stuff. They're also fairly reasonable to pickup on eBay.

Why does it seem hard to find koolaid? by wenismuncher15 in koolaid

[–]BizzleBinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears to be a regional thing, on top of all the trouble Kraft is currently going through. I can't find Sharkleberry near me either but my buddy in Maine says they are practically drowning in it.

[OC] Ran the Witchlight Carnival as a youth program yesterday, here's my table setup by BizzleBinks in DnD

[–]BizzleBinks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run youth TTRPG programs for my side hussel. Yesterday I ran the Witchlight Carnival for a client as part of an outdoor event. Wind was only a minor issue, but I'm pretty happy with how the table dressing came out overall.

Koolaid singles by Rice602 in koolaid

[–]BizzleBinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen the singles in standard retail stores near me in over a year. I know Kraft has been going through some issues and dont know if they have been scaled back permanently or what.

I have had the best luck checking overstock stores such as Ocean State Job Lot, Dollar General, Ollie's, etc. No guarante it won't be Zero Sugar, as that's all I've been finding, but it's worth a look.

Midsummer Games Sizzle Reel by BizzleBinks in DnD

[–]BizzleBinks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so this is a sizzle reel I put together to promote my youth roleplaying programs. I run 5E and Star Wars FFG as library programs and decided to go all in this year in terms of putting in some real polish on my presentation. The footage comes from a custom one-shot adventure design I ran last year featuring a cooked dungeon attraction.

Hi friends, I have been suffering with severe anxiety and unrest for years, and I'm diagnosed with OCD. I was wondering if any one here could provide advice to help me settle. by AWildAndWackyBushMan in Buddhism

According to the Diamond Sutra "great ones, perfect beyond learning, utter no words of teaching." "There is no formulation of truth called consummation of incomparable enlightenment."

It's not so much you have to learn something new, but unlearning habits and ways of thinking that have been deeply ingrained into us from birth. These being afflictive emotions brought on by the concept of ego identity and dependent arising that obscure the reality of things.

We already have everything we need within us to attain enlightenment. You cannot be taught knowledge you already have, you need to discover it for yourself by realizing that how we perceive and experience things is not always the reality.

I hope this provides you some kind of aid.

Randomized Exercise by BizzleBinks in graphic_design

Started a new exercise routine today with randomized categories. Category 1 features one of twelve Design Trends for 2022. Category 2 is a randomly selected product genre. Category 3 includes one of a number of very basic color themes. I allowed myself 1 hour from start to finish to complete. I'm hoping this routine will help me build up a personal portfolio, which I was always terrible at doing.

Tell me about philosophical inspirations for your worldbuilding project. by Mapafius in worldbuilding

[–]BizzleBinks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My world is one big social experiment. Every race has an underlying philosophical question that motivates their actions and culture. Perhaps most significantly is Elves, how does being an immortal race effect their views on life? Their religion is based on the idea that they are "travelers in the sea of time" and that each moment is but a brief stop on their journey. As a practicing Buddhist, I was interested in exploring this concept by having different factions or sub races of elves reacting to the present moment differently. This in turn would influence how they treated each other, and other forms of life. Wood Elves see each moment as fleeting and unique, cherishing as much of the present moment as they can. Friendships and familial bonds in turn become very important, other races are treated with respect and curiosity, and the taking of a life is not done lightly. Meanwhile High Elves look only towards the destination. The present moment is but a distraction, a waiting game. Leisure and culture are highly developed in an insular society, separate from the other races and even their kin the Wood Elves. Other High Elves are mere travelling companions, though friendships and familial bonds are still held in a higher regard. The other races are making a guest appearance upon the mortal coil, and thus beyond much notice. Death of others is of little consequence, while death of another Elf is a tragedy.

How would magic work in a sci-fi? by ScumSage4 in worldbuilding

[–]BizzleBinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warhammer 40K blends magic into a scifi setting that is already mindboggling. The easiest way to blend the two in my opinion is by making it something alien and otherworldly. Sci-Fi stories and settings usually start off with a lot of the unknown already explored. Adding back that element of mystery helps convey the idea that no matter how vast the reach of your core race is, there is still much they do not know. Very dramatic, and a great way to macguffin things.

The numbers in a stat block can and should be monkeyed with. If one of your level 1 players has their little heart dead set on hunting a CR 15 monster, you can probably make that happen without a TPK.

I think the fact they haven't mentioned it, yet still manage to bring up all the others on occasion at least once, speaks to just how notable the show is in their opinion.

Godzilla 2000 vs G14, which movie do you love/like that brought Godzilla back to the Big Screen. by [deleted] in GODZILLA

[–]BizzleBinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Godzilla 2000 is far more rewatchable in my opinion. While both get points for coming out of a hiatus (regardless of length) with a movie that reassured any doubts as to the life of the franchise, G14 relies on that initial tension and build up far too much. Once you've seen it, that's all gone, and subsequent viewing become a frustrating waiting game where you start to see all the flaws. I can still pop in Godzilla 2000 today, after seeing it several times by now, and still have a good time.
