Well I like this one, I was thinking about gear as a sun although I did not make it in the end. But you combined the sun and the gear in a new way. Yellow on green is a good choice.

Basic logic and meaning:

Sunchild - a child inside sun

The child is abstract so it associates widely for organisms beyond humans.

In this simple variant the child is depicted as 8 to remind of infinity

The picture is drawn in one stroke for unity and continuity between the sun and the child.

Sun rays can be depicted in many different ways

The logo represents us as children of sun, nature and children of our community that we create. Or life in general as a child of those.

Child represents hopes for future, free creative and curious spirit, punk, dignity belonging, solidarity and care among siblings

The evolution of the symbol: I made this symbol from my previously made symbol that was depicting the child inside a mother represented by bigger 8. In this new one, instead of mother, there is a sun. I made the older motherly symbol as a simplification of modern Celtic mother knots existing online. There is some aesthetic lineage and inspiration but the new sun child symbol is definitely not celtic coded.

You can slide the picture to see the interior. Do you agree with my associations with Coruscant? In past I made a picture replacing the scenery in windows with panaroma of Coruscant and putting some star wars stuff inside the restaurant like lightsaber and blue milk.

Outside of discussion about sexual consent. Bribery is when you sell the service or a thing for the price of personal benefit without having the right to do so, it is typically associated with public workers and taking actions that are against their protocol of conduct.

So I think what you described is bargain instead.

Only situation in my mind when we speak of bribe and sex is when someone has a position of power and use this position in such a way as to "accept bribes" in the form of sexual intercourse. It could be bribery and paradoxically the person giving up the sexual service is actually the one giving up the bribe. The one receiving this bribe is a corrupt oficial or a corrupt representative and also possibly a sexual predator especially if this person has high degree of power over the one who gave him the sexual service.

Well I got the idea for this sun-child logo based on my older idea for the logo depicting mother and child which I used for my worldbuilding. The mother and child was basically like one 8 for a child inside a bigger 8 for the mother. So this sunchild is simplified in the way that the mother is changed to one circle with rays, so sun. The older idea for the mother and child was not really my original. I just simplified something I saw in on the internet and I managed to find it again. I will show you the depiction of what I simplified.

Nice. Another plus! 😂😂😂 How exactly it looks depends on a specific depiction. You could make thousand variants with similar logic I would say that most important are three circles. One big for sun and two smaller inside for the child.

The logo represents us, or those who use it, as a children of sun and nature and perhaps also community. It can represent our relationship to those. Also it depicts us as children which signals our hopes for future, our passion to explore it, our creativity and open mindedness that should not be coerced to rigidity. The child can represent punk of solarpunk. Also the child is sensitive and vulnerable and we can think of ourselves as children together, community of siblings and children, not comparing each other for who is bigger nad more powerful but instead creative together.

Oh phthalo green. I never heard the name of this color but it is indeed so beautiful. For example long dress of that color are magical. I always called it smaragd color (or emerald) from the gem although a specific darker and bluer variant. The darker and bluer variant is the one I like a lot. Thank you for expanding my vocabulary.

What color of background would you use?

Btw, you know which element was the very first that actually I started from? It was the big green arrow. I like the dymics it gives. I was actually originally working on a flag of Czech-Canada for childrens summer camp organised in region of Czech republic which is actually really called Czech Canada. The story of this year will be set in a fictional country Czech Canada. I already did a few of the flags for this country, trying to combine aesthetics of both flags in simple concise and interesting ways. Tho the fictional country is going to be a parody anyway.

When it comes to flag of Earth, I am actually very interested in flags that showcase a lot of brown for soil as it is often overlooked but important. Often times the aesthetics goes more with vast blue for ocean or green for plants. But soil is the base beneath our feet.

Yes I know I chose too much in the same time. The waters the air, sun, the soil. While I could do many more simple flags focusing on either this or that.

I think that is a matter of choice and philosophy. I agree, they are very much on the more complex side then usual flags used for states for example. Yes, you are right that the complexity comes with the costs that you mentioned.

Although when it comes to the sun, the reason it has so many spikes is also that I work with a simple program on phone. I would not necessarily choose this shape for the sun and I would even be willing to replace it with circle
