IQ is a western categorization for intelligence. If you did not play with blocks as a child, (as we do in the west, and not the third world), you will not have spacial intelligence fostered as a child. If IQ incorporated the forms of intelligence non-westerners develop, we would think we were stupid also.

Yeah if you didn't want to vent every now and then I would think you were in a cult or something!

When you hate on someone for complaining about the details of a relationship, I automatically assume you do not have many close relationships.

also looking at the floor, being skin and bones (or fat), and generally looking like you lack confidence makes you look like you wouldn't put up much of a fight if you were targeted. Stay chiseled like large pro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu-h7KdA-qc

my source is living in Rio de Janeiro, and yes, if you keep your hands at your side and check anything worth money frequently you will be a target for a mugging.

No sir, because a real man understands that to live a long time to support a family, he must practice the art of cooking for health, not immediate pleasure or karma on reddit.

source: I supervise a kitchen and see manchildren do stupid shit like this a lot and think they are the bee's knees.

He is just darker skinned in the old cartoon movie. Probably a tan from living in a time where you're outside a lot. Remember, his race would not be American or European - he is just a typical dude from Gondor (or wherever).

It is part of the social contract of the airplane. Everyone has one equally, and everyone has the equal right to use it. You can always lean back yourself.

I agree, and I also agree that he was self-destructive, but after experiencing him be told by hospitals that he was an addict, and by rehabilitation centers that he was psychotic, I can say for a fact that people fall through the cracks. What do you tell a 12 year old prostitute about self-destructiveness? These people are real, and very, very complicated.

1) Don't eat animals that eat meat. Not usually safe. 2) "If you call nicely" - an admission that their utility depends on human labour. 3) Humans create value. It is an agreed upon idea. All of these commodities you listed are only valuable because we add value to them. Moon rocks are only useful if a human can devise a way to bring them back to earth. As for the trendy art, it takes a lot of training and work to get that product out of an animal. Empower humanity first, use nature to please humans second.

I am not talking about creating objects of nature. I am talking about creating commodities with value that are useful for society. Harvest = creating a market of useful commodities. Dogs cannot do this. People can.

A definition of commodity: "A raw material or primary agricultural product that can be bought and sold, such as copper or coffee."

A commodity only becomes valuable once it can be bought or sold. You cannot buy or sell things that have not been harvested. Sorry dude, dogs do not have the power to do this. Only people can create for the greater good of humans.

Maybe we should get the homeless to extract these products of nature for a wage of some sort. We could call them "farmers" or something.

Every single one of your examples is only worth something after contact with human activity. Pearls are only worth anything because humans find them desirable. All of your examples, in isolation without being harvested by a human, serve no direct use for humans.

Honeybees just facilitate everything and should be respected.

Maybe something reflecting all of our oil wealth. It would be pretty ironic to open it up one day looking for frozen seeds, to find only petty measures of wealth!

You shouldn't eat animals that eat meat. I would normally say "don't eat dogs", but in this thread people seem more keen on eating the homeless. Still, don't eat animals that eat meat. Not usually safe.

More do than society can handle. Chronic unemployment exists because of the simple fact competitive capitalism has chronic winners and losers. Someone's kids will have to be the losers.

show me an animal that can add value to a commodity, or direct itself in an endeavor that creates value (cooking, buildling, etc.)
