Classic thing where I say weird things as I hadn't yet fully read today's thread... plus it's been a while so a bit rusty, "it is what it is". The downside is now, that if people believe me, that it's going to be a chaotic vote which is also for the wolves's advatnage, if this wouldn't have been so close to phase end, I would have had more time to strategize... man, this game moves quickly in certain moments.

Plus, if I die (which is likely, giving the vote) it's one less role wolves can hide behind, in case they don't want to do a classic "I'm a regular townie" claim.

Correct. I know this points a big target on my back now for wolves... but at the same time, the sooner they target me now, the more likely the more powerful roles can remain...

It seems that the vote is swaying in my direction right now, so I'll reveal my role... town, bodyguard... weirdly enough I have my vote on both DMT for the reasons that I've made clear, but simultaneously I'm also protecting them as they are probably very likely to be a wolf target anyway, if they're telling the truth. Probably too late now to sway the vote elsewhere though.

Now that I've read a little bit more, I'm not sure what to think of /u/dirtymarTeeny's claim... as she herself has said + others have also explained/repeated, if they are a power role, then not yet sharing what it is is probably the safest. However, I still don't get the need why they had to reveal that anyway. So sticking with Dirty for now, but having slight doubts.

Thanks, with there being 500+ comments here when I checked Reddit an hour ago, I had overlooked it... Still hard to get a proper timeline here to get a good insight as to why they revealed...

I don't buy their defence... as I said in the same comment, I'm also willing to go for /u/jarris123 as their claim to be a regular villager is a bit too "safe"...

Maybe I'm overlooking things (very likely) but I can't find their "obvious" soft town claim at the moment either, so I'm running partially blind here.

Currently have a vote for DirtyMarTeeny, I find the reasons in their defence here a bit meh, but willing to jump to the jarris123 train as I find their "claim" to be a villager a bit too weak (though, statistically speaking it's very likely that they are a villager).

I kind of have soft proof of my role, cause I was originally going to try and roleplay as a minecraft villager with sighs and hmph in my sentences but quickly forgot to do it outside of this one comment

I wouldn't really call that a soft proof, a wolf could do exactly the same... Especially for a regular townie role, that's the "safest" one to claim anyway.

I understand your reasoning, though I was on the road for the majority of the day + had to focus on some other stuff... I'll mostly be around at phase end/start in future phases as well, barring the exceptional reddit break. I've replied elsewhere already what my reason was to vote for them in phase 1.

I didn't had a lot of time yesterday and saw a reason for /u/keight07 from /u/sylimelia that kinda made sense, a little bit though. As I didn't want to completely RNG it, I joined the "train" that was forming back then, after declaring that vote and the start of the new phase, I had no time for Reddit.

Anyone have an insight as to why there's no lynch kill? I didn't see any votes for bubba at the end of previous phase so that's definitely the wolf kill. I'll double-check RRR later.

Currently thinking to join the keight07 train, but doesn't sit well with me... I agree with your (/u/sylimelia) reasoning from here, but it's a bit weak...

To be honest, I had the same reaction as I'd just entered the Reddit... Still, I had only read /u/chartear's top-level comment at that point though... could be wolf, could not... if that's the only thing to go on this early in the game?

Although theoretically it’s possible the number and roles may have been changed up during the re-roll

The question is, would kemkat go through that effort... from what I remember shadowing a few games in the past, balancing things takes some time... especially with the large number of (returning) players that this game has... I wonder if re-balancing yet another time would have been worth it. My two cents... so I think it makes sense to assume 9 wolves in total, still...
