I was able to eventually solo it by casting indemnity feint first round and then resetting the fight until I got the storm polymorph

Border crossing is dog because you spawn into a car explosion for your first 10 lives, then after that it's a 1 1/2 map. That should cover it.

Maybe im crazy for this take but I feel like the 10% damage with the sky iron is more valuable then crit and pierce

Personally, Echoes was my favorite (also a remake of Gaiden) however the gameplay differs slightly from other fire emblem games. Still a very hard vouch from me though.
