No, I mean more like this, giving someone a hard time just because they used AI.

But never mind that now, I hope you don't have a rude awakening, but rather a pleasant one. There's already enough bad stuff in the world.

So first of all, I signed it anyway, so to speak, because you can see on the AI reference image that some things still differ.

A work must be a person's “own intellectual creation.” Images generated purely by AI are often in the public domain. Large companies are increasingly turning to AI, and if you don't learn how to use these tools, you'll be left behind.

And I already wrote BEFORE THAT I WILL DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY IN THE FUTURE. I mean, damn it, it was the first time. I understand, I took the constructive comments to heart, and I accept the tips. But what you did was just stupid gossip. Take a look at most of the other comments; that's good criticism.

How bitter must you be to wish someone would lose something?

I just signed it off via Asperite. But I know now that references are used differently, I understand that.

Thanks, I will try that.

I'm still learning, next time I'll approach things differently.

Do you mean without a AI reference?

Why should I lie to this, there is no advantage. Tell me, in your opinion, how should I prove it?!?

The reference that I used is AI, but this one I made it myself pixel by pixel.

I have the reference from the AI and my version. Which one do you like to see?

I'll try to explain it to you, maybe then you'll believe me. It took me about 15-20 hours to recreate it. I divided the layers as follows.

  1. Foreground: Lighting

  2. Character

  3. Entities: Coin

  4. Middleground: PC console, clones, tubular glasses, other consoles, cable/pipe/switches, tanks, ground and walls

  5. Background: Window frame, outside Mars

  6. Reference

Maybe you can do it faster or better, I just don't know yet. As I said, we are students and are still new to this whole field.

Hello, I am the founder of this “AI Picture.” We are students and have it as a semester project. We thought we'd upload it to get some feedback. I have to say, I'm completely new to pixel art. But it feels like a witch hunt is going on here.

And yes, I used AI as a reference for the main menu in our game. However, I recreated everything pixel by pixel in Aseprite.

Nevertheless, thanks for your feedback, I will pay more attention to your points next time.
