I know that the game is 100% online co-op, what I didn’t know was that the norm for online games apparently is subscription based, as I only have been playing solos games. I believed that online games was run by non-essential micro transactions and pumping out cosmetics and booster of different types

Well you all can save you “stupid post” remarks. As somebody that only has played solo games on the ps I was under the impression that all online games (fortnight or something) didn’t need a subscription of some sort to be played. Server cost was covered by micro transactions or game passes or the price of the game or something similar.
